I heard this morning on the radio that Ruben has found a diet that he is going to try again because the other one wasn't working for him. He wants to loose about 200 pounds...that's a lot of weight.

He was trying to do too much on that first diet. He was only eating like 1000 calories a day. That is literally like feeding a whale ONE TIC TAC a day and expecting him to be happy. Ruben just needs to eat sensibly and healthy and exercise and he will shed the weight. I imagine his metabolism is shot straight to hell right now, but he can revitalize it with healthy eating and exercise.

Yeah I read on something that he was eating about 5000 calories before...who in the hell eats that much. That just sounds like a whole lot period. I agree he really needs to learn to eat sensible, and definitely add exercise into his diet. All that weight isn't healthy for him, and I wish him all the best with loosing it.
You know his system was like what the hell is wrong with you when he started that 1200 a day calorie diet the first time.

Ruben would be a great candidate for gastric bypass. I know that there are a lot of people against that procedure, but at his weight, I really don't think that he is going to be able to lose 200lbs on a regular diet. Along with the surgery he needs to be put on a post-op diet and an exercise regimen.

He may be able to do it, I only say this because on Oprah last year some time, they had people on that lost a lot of weight. They had this man on there that lost over 300 pounds, and he did it without surgery. His goal was to be small enough to be able to fit inside a Porsche I think it was. Dude was crying when Oprah brought out the Porches, and then when she said it was his....he was really crying.

that comment is hilarious so he wants to shed a whole person? i wish him luck on that one. i hope he's able to do such w/o the surgery. gastric bypass is touted as a panacea but the reality is, if you don't watch your intake and exercise, you will gain it all back and (perhaps) then some...

NEW YORK - It's beginning to look like R&B singer R Kelly, real name Robert Kelly, have a lot more to worry about than suing rapper Jay Z, with a 75 Million dollar lawsuit for being kicked off The Best of Both Worlds Tour.
After making his final appearance with Jay-Z last week on their ill-fated co-headlining tour, R Kelly will be making a different appearance - in court.
R Kelly, whose sex tape trial is set to start at the beginning of
next month, was hit wit a summons yesterday evening by the family of singer Ashanti, for allegedly making sexual advances toward Ashanti's younger sister. An official complaint was filed Thursday afternoon when the underage girl complained to her family that Robert Kelly fondled her breast while backstage at a recent awards show.
Charges are currently pending against the R&B singer.
No comments have been made at this time regarding the case from Kelly.
