4) i joined because something during formal recruitment fit right. i can't really describle it better than that. i think it was during desserts when the chapter was reciting the purpose where i went "wow, these are the things i believe in, and these women are so wonderful."
my favorite memory...that's hard, there are so many good ones! but i think my favorite memory was going to convention in july with the rest of our ec, and hitting it up in my favorite city. we kept a long list of funny things that were said/happened, and everytime i read it, i still laugh.

So glad to finally see you on GC, Kat! Welcome aboard!
I'm the same way with my Chicago memories. I look at all my pictures and I wish I was with all my sisters again. I really had the time of my life...and Chicago's my favorite city now too.

new...
hallo. i'm the "disturbed" *laughs a bit at that adjetive* sister mentioned here
something about me besides the fact i post too many pictures?
i'm from nebraska, sophomore, undecided with english major tendancies.
why did i join agd?
because my mother (who died when i was 15. information. not looking for pity.) was an AGD. i often say that AGD is not only sisters to me, but also a mother. but it wasn't just to have that connection. i also just... felt at home there. which was odd, as i was terribly anti-sorority in high school, and really up through preference night.
so that's my story.
ooh, and my name's gwyn. username comes from a strong identification with the story of peter pan.

Hello!
It has been a crazy semester, so I thought I would go ahead and introduce myself when I'm not running around busy...at 1 am. But, you'll have that.
Anyway, my name is Sara and I am a collegian.
I have so many favorite memories of AGD. Many center on the random moments when we are just being ourselves and being completely random. I love it how they encourage me to be myself and to accept myself. I think that is what drew me to AGD so much; during all of the events, the girls around me where acting like themselves, there was nothing fake--something I saw at so many other houses. I wasn't sure about AGD the first day but I fell in love with it throughout the week and was so excited when I got my bid. I can't wait for more memories to come

Roll Call
Hey all! I'm new, so here's my info!
Ann
Montana State University, Delta Gamma
Collegian
I joined Alpha Gamma Delta on a whim. I went to CU my first semester and loved it. I wanted to rush but I was afraid to because there were so many girls! Then I transferred back home to save money and I rushed as a sophomore with one of my high school friends, who is also an Alpha Gam. We weren't planning on being in the same house but now we love it! I chose AGD because I just felt at home and I loved the girls and their dedication to better themselves, the community and they work so hard in academics and in life. I love it here!

Hey y'all!
Kari
University of West Georgia - Gamma Tau
Active member....3 more years to go!
I joined Alpha Gam because it felt like home. The girls who were to become my sisters were so real, unlike some of the other groups on our campus. What you see is what you get. The best part was that rush was just the tip of the iceberg...

4) I joined AGD because it just fit. The girls were fabulous and real and I just felt so at home from the minute that I set foot in the door.

I'm a transfer student at a school where sororities don't like to take in anyone who isn't a first year, but Alpha Gam didn't turn me away before ever meeting me
