I thought that it was not that he was crazy, but that he abused his wife and one day beat his son to death. Or that is the story she told a doctor to get some sleeping medication to drug him. The way the scene was made it sounded like she was telling the truth about him though.

I think that the whole Bree possibly having more feelings for George than she thought is going to really make the children angry and the son will start to be a jerk again.

When are we going to find out what Tom Scavo's deep dark secret is? Remember how Ryan O'Neill played his Dad, and Tom was all, "Lynetter would never forgive me if she found out", yadda yadda yadda.

George is a sociopath and therefore that's how he can lie and not set off a lie detector. He's too good at it, it's like 2nd nature for him.

Yep, sociopath's can get past a lie detector easily. That's part of the reason that they aren't allowable evidence in court. They have no guilt or remorse and therefore, show no emotional or physiological response when they lie. He is creeeeeeeeeepy.

I saw an interview with one of the writers who said that Bree's son is going to do something really awful, as he pledged to do last season, after being really good for a while.

I hate the Edie and Karl story line. It just seems over the top to me.

I love Lynnette.

I agree. Wasn't Edie hitting on all of the construction men just a short while ago. This story line just agitates me for some reason.

First of all, I have not read the entire thread, but am I the only one who thinks this show is annoying?

I'm starting to agree with you tinydancer. It just is not as good this year for me. At least when compared to Lost.

I def don't think it was as good as last season. It really needs to pick back up. It's not a "must see" to me right now, but I'm still watching it in good faith.

I miss the DH of last season.

I think they really dropped the ball on the "Zach is Mike's son" story. That was the cliffhanger and then they've barely mentioned it for the last two weeks, and those two characters haven't been seen.

I'm mildly curious about the new family, but they're not interesting and I don't really care about them or the storyline.

Bre's MIL is annoying and I wish she'd leave.

I completely agree. I think that the new story line is only somewhat interesting and that the show has really lost some steam. I think there are two interesting story lines is Bree and George and Lynette going back to work, but other than that the show has been down hill for me.

The previews for next week indicate that Zach will be spotted by Susan so that story line is coming back. I think DH's pattern has been to stretch things out over time and not deal with each story line each week. They wanna keep you coming back.

I like the new family. Matt is yummy scrummy and Alfrie plays creapy really well. When that guy jumped out of the basement! Whoooo.....I jumped too!

I hate the Edie and Susan's ex story line. That's just beyond stupid to me.

She already left. Hopefully we won't see much more of her. The her and George storyline should be heating up more and more.

Hopefully we'll get more answers about the Mike/Zach story soon.

The Gabby/Carlos storyline is boring me to death. They need some more excitement.

I'm loving Lynette more and more every episode. I hope they write Joley Fischer's pregnancy into the show. That'd be great.

Yeah...but I liked how she finally told her high-school lover to naff off. I almost spit my juice out at the part where he was sleeping with that other lady. And even though I think Carlos is an arse, I'm glad Gabby was finally able to sincerely apologize to him.

Joely Fisher is on Nip/Tuck, not Desperate Housewives.

Lynette Scavo is played by Felicity Huffman.
