He is also a graduate of my alma mater, East High School, Columbus Ohio, c/o '59(?)
I had to give the school shout-out, we had homecoming last week!
Sorry for the hijack. Carry on...

That's exactly what I was thinking. Especially since Toni has a baby now...

ok? so last night's Girlfriends. . . .
The Joan storyline was interesting
Maya's -- hated it and those book titles
Toni -- at least she called Morgan, "itty bitty" this week

Yes, Joan's storyline was interesting. I hope it isn't a recreation of the Living Single ep where Regine dated the older guy (Melvin Van Peebles) and his son (Mario).

i actually LOL at a few scenes last nite.
Maya using those big words reminded me of the guy in jail on "In Living Color".
It was a little gross just watching Joan and Melvin Van Peebles.

Maybe if they had a more vibrant older man playing the role it wouldn't have seemed so odd to me. Was "Shaft" (Richard Roundtree) busy that day?
Melvin Van Peebles looked like his lil' bitty body was going to teeter over at any moment.

Opening scene of Joan and Kenneth weirded me out.

Ugggghhh...me too! Any scenes where she was talking about sex with him did the same for me!
I'm glad Toni got to keep Morgan. But, I think it's time for this show to gone on home.

Yep and William and Joan should get together.
I did LMAO at the end when William started fanning the "love below".

Watch they write in Joan being knocked up by Grandpappi Kenneth. I'm trying to remember, didn't he play Zeke years ago on Good Times??? Zeke was the old man that was looking for some place to die and died in the Evan's living room. If not, Kenneth sure looks and sounds like him.
I'm glad Toni got to keep baby Morgan also, but I don't know about yawl but that blue puff puff pass shirt Toni had on last night was the absolute pits. Lawd hammercy it was a mess at best!

Why is it that Melvin Van Peebles is always picking up young women? For example: He got Regine in Living Single and now Joan in Girlfriends. He is still pimping in his 70's!
