Nebraska 21, Kansas State 3. Taking care of Business.
Next Week: Texas at Nebraska.
Both Teams 1st in their respective Big XII Division with a 3-0, 6-1 record. Gonna be a great game. ESPN Gameday should be in Lincoln, too.
GO BIG RED!

OH GOOD LORD that was a scary game today. But tailgating, being there, tailgating some more and then impromptu date with a boy I met tailgating--all fun. lol
And AUDeltaGam--when they announced the FL-AUburn final score--all 90K+ people in the Coliseum erupted in cheers. We so needed FL to lose. Thanks to your team for taking care of that for us . hee

Well, too bad it won't happen.
USC has no business being in the top 3 in college football. The thought of it makes me vomit. They play in easily the worst conference in the country and they can't beat Washington, Washington State, or ASU by more than a touchdown??? I truly believe they would get embarassed by at least 7 or 8 teams in the top 10.

USC this year reminds me of 2003 Ohio State--the season aftewr the won the Nat'l Champ... they squeaked out win after win at the last second and we were all -they are so not a top 3 team.
As season wore on, that was proven correct. And if SC does not get it together, that will be proven correct about us too.

I think Michigan beats Ohio State. Like us, they are not going to have any trouble stopping the run...and they have the luxury of playing with a full starting secondary......thanks Tarrell Brown.

Some folks said that about Texas. Then Iowa.
Etc.
Every team can have a letdown on any given week, and under other former coachs OSU has had it's share of them, but as someone said early in the thread:
Don't overlook Ohio State.
Oh, and my Ohio University Bobcats will be perfect against Big Ten teams for the rest of the year after beating Illinois Saturday. Not too bad for a 3-3 team from the MAC. Of course that says more about Illinois than Ohio, but it's fun anyway.
