I don't know if bum is the best word....that's more like Joe Gorga (the non juicy one) and all his shady hats. Juicy Joe is more like a bear just waking up from hibernation.

THAT is what I was describing. He's always in "I just woke up and don't feel like doing a THING" mode. Not so much bum, but just too tired to interact with people. lol.

Ashley is a brat but I blame her parents. They continue to create the monster that she is by babying her. Children need parents, not friends. There are a whole lot of children of divorce out there that have to learn how to deal with it and move forward with life. At least she has 2 families that love and care for her.

How in the world could you let your mother co-sign for your car (among all the other things she does for you) and not give her as much as a small gift at Christmas and on Mother's Day???? Ashley will not change though until her parents get it.

Yeah, I gotta co-sign with you guys on this one: I feel so sorry for Ashley's parents, because they don't realize how much they are enabling her to continue to be selfish. She did NOT need to be bought another car. The way she began clowning her step-father right there at the dealership was a red flag that she doesn't deserve ANYthing. This girl is trying desperately to belong to the Manzo family, yet she misses her OTHER family. Now that she's coming of age, I don't know if she can be helped, because her personality will begin to solidify after a while.

I read somewhere that Ashley is now living in Texas near her other family. Maybe that is a good thing for everyone.

I doubt it. She'll probably whine & bitch to that family that she feels left out and feels like she doesn't belong. That girl needs to mature... a lot.

Either that, or she'll be bitching and whining about going back to the Manzo family because she's a "Bravo-lebrity" now. Anyone else notice the unflattering false eye-lashes that she keeps blinking?

I realize there is a lot behind the whole dynamic between Teresa and Melissa/Joe that we don't know about but T does NOT seem to be trying. She has always been one of my favorite housewives but she is unjustly blaming things on Melissa. If it wasn't for Melissa, Teresa wouldn't have seen her brother AT ALL on xmas eve (remember she forced him to go) and Teresa is whining that they didn't stay the whole time because Melissa is a B and hates Teresa and her brother's relationship. Melissa is honestly trying and it seems like she is doing a lot more to help Teresa and Joe's relationship than to harm it like Teresa argues she is.

FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Someone else GETS it!! That is exactly what I've been screaming all season. I really believe Melissa is doing everything in her power to get her husband and his sister back to the close relationship they once had. She has been the honest one all this time, and doesn't mind telling Teresa, "Alright, let's get real ... and stop with the fake stuff ..." because it's Teresa who wants to hold grudges. Her beef with Kathy is just ... I don't know, ... stupid. I really like Kathy. Although her presence on the show is not as drama-filled as the rest, I love the unit she's built with her family. She seems like such a good person, and her children are just beautiful. They have the home life that makes me smile.

I do see Melissa trying now but it's hard when you just don't like someone and I can tell that Teresa just doesn't like that girl for things we will probably never know about. I have a feeling it goes back to when she first started dating her brother. Teresa appears to be someone that holds grudges a long damn time (I used to be like that so I know; once a person did something to hurt me, that was it...I didn't have to ever speak to you again, family or no family). I can tell that she doesn't like Melissa but will tolerate her because of her brother but doesn't feel it necessary to tolerate Kathy so she doesn't. People like that (who hold grudges a long time...for years even) often have a tough exterior but are really hurt to the core inside (no matter whether the reasons are imagined or actual).

I hope for her family's sake though, that Teresa can forgive and really move forward with everyone.

I completely agree. I wouldn't like someone either who made a comment about being with my brother for $ or sent me a card congratulating me on my re-done home. But, she needs to realize that JOE was the one who didn't even want to come over for an hour on xmas eve!! Melissa forced him for the sake of his relationship with his sister, and then Teresa takes it out on her that they left to go to Kathy's. I love T, I really do, but she needs to get things straight.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1bmg...mbedded#at=380 at about 6:00 you see Melissa be really genuine about wanting T and J to be happy and loving again. I agree with her. She gets on my nerves sometimes and I love T, but she is so right on this one.

LOL!!!! I wanted to be an astronaut when I was seven, and if Joe suddenly built me a rocket ship in our backyard, I think people would be a little shocked. I was a little shocked.

Okay this makes it easier to understand T's behavior

I read the blogs and that's why I have a hard time believing Melissa. From the first episode, everytime she interviewed, she (and Kathy) spent their time trashing Teresa nonstop. It seems like her & Kathy got on the show and spent the majority of their time talking about Teresa & her family. Don't get me wrong. I'm not "Team Teresa" b/c most of the time, she irritates me but I admit I'm similar to her in that when people spend their time trashing me or talking crap, I have a hard time forgiving and forgetting. To me, Melissa & Kathy showed their true colors in the beginning of the show and I feel like they're doing "damage control" to their reputations by trying to shift the blame on Teresa for all the family problems.
