I'm pretty picky about who I actively friend on Facebook, but if a family member friends me, I will friend them back (a few exceptions, but these are people I already have on block).

I have about 10 cousins who provide Bible quotes of the day, Daily Inspirations, Jesus's Thought of the Day, and all of their status updates are about Jesus. It's great that they have their faith to rely on, but it gets a bit much sometimes. Also, they talk in Prince speak. Jesus talk in Prince-speak? 2 MUCH 4 ME.

I just stared at that damn sentece for 5 minutes trying to understand it. I eventually gave up and then realized you had commented on it. Thank God you did, because I would have gone mad trying to figure out what the hell that person was talking about!

Originally being from Pennsylvania, I first thought she meant "Reese's Pieces" or something along those lines. I was confused, too.

This doesn't count as bad grammar in facebook STATUS updates, but it applies to people posting on my wall. I thought about it long and hard and decided to erase it because I couldn't keep looking at it without feeling like it was nails across a chalkboard.

I wrote something random in my facebook status and a friend replied to my status by posting, "Your funny!" It drove me nuts and I almost wrote back, "My funny what?"

I HATE when people don't know how to distinguish between YOUR and YOU'RE. That drives me crazy more than pretty much anything else-well, that and I HATE styrafoam (for personal creeped out reasons-not because I'm super earth conscious).

Girl from high school how are you suppose to write five full pages about the Civil Rights Act of 1964????
---Comment 1: just print out the act and hand it in, if it's less then 5 pages repeat as necessary
---Comment 2: That sounds like a terrible paper i couldnt even write 5 pages on that topic. good luck with it

I have a very limited knowledge of the topic, but I'm pretty sure there's a lot to say about Civil Rights in the 1960s. And "suppose," really?

This one just popped up in a status:

"Watching the swan princess my ultime favorite movie and doing homework too."

Yea. At first I thought it was meant to be "ultimate," but after reading further, I assumed it was "all-time."

I replied, "Ok, just because I'm crazy, what does "ultime" mean? lol," ...figuring I'd give the person the benefit of the doubt by assuming that they just made a mistake, and that they would correct said mistake by telling me what they actually meant to say.

Response: "Ha ha well i guess what i meant is that it is my favorite movie above any other movie i watch ha ha."

I'm pretty sure this person thinks "ultime" is actually a word.

So I just moved to NJ and obviously there are a lot of commercials I've never seen before. Tonight, I had the tv on while making dinner and I heard a commercial talking about a casino that's about an hour away from here. When they said the name of it, I couldn't help but look up and laugh. The name of the casino...

Mount Airy.

The only thing that annoys me more than the people who post the 'real' "97% of people won't post this, will you?" Copy & Paste statuses, are the ones who post the 'fake' ones. The ones that say "copy & paste this if you know someone who is an idiot" etc. IT'S NOT FUNNY, you are just as much of an idiot as the c&p people you are trying hard to mock.

Ok, I don't usually gripe about the latest "new facebook", but since this most recent change, I cannot view my lists of people and it is making me crazy. I have all of my friends categorized and I cannot find a way to change which list they are on, add them to a list, or DELETE them. Anybody?

ETA: Nevermind, just found it. Click on Account, Edit Friends. Could that have been any more difficult to find? Sheesh.

TWICE today I saw "heals" instead of "heels" on FB status lines.
