Did they get $8000...... Babs is their leader because in her own ghetto fab way she keeps it real and makes the most sense. Why does Sarah allow the group to make decisions for her? Is she not a grown woman. She should ask herself:
"Self do I need information on business matters from a worker ant who sucks his thumb and a rapper named Chopper who resembles the black stick from the game pick up sticks?" Self should say "HellllNaaaaw!"

LOL!! That is TOO true. Yes, I believe their first check is for $8000. Which is another reason that they should NOT be looking at $50,000 necklaces.

now, i thought i heard fred say he didn't have a dime but i thought i saw him leave jacob's with jewelry. sumthin aint smelling right...

and let me say that make-up is a WONDERFUL thang!!! they had babs looking so much better but i noticed that under the weave, she's a bit of a chickenhead...

my l.s. is an on-air peresonality for the morning show here and she got to go to ny for the vma's and she interviewed da band. s he says that ness really is the leader of the band and is the most eloquent and sensible one. she says dylan is a sweetheart even though he and fred were fighting over the microphone. and if you notice, chopper seems really tall. well she said he is probably about 6'1 and everyone else is short. she also said they looked better (i also asked if fred stunk because he looks like he does--she said he didn't.

LOL Mz Discreet!! I thought your post was funny! I do agree with what you said about make up. Babs actually looked CUTE last night on the show. Sara looked nice too...they had her looking very natural. Let's see, what else do I wanna say about people: Choppa looks a hot mess with the gold fronts. Why are we so materialistic?! The firs thing they wanna do is buy some "bling" so they can look good--ummm, why not get the things you NEED vs. what you want. But that's not my world, that's there's.

NOW, what are we going to do after the season finale?! No Soul Food, no Making the Band....My world is coming to an end!!!

Ok, if Bentley is supposed to be showing "The Band" how to make it in the entertainment business he should have been taking them to a financial advisor istead of to Jacob the Jeweler. Hell they are spending the money before they even get it!!

I think that they were totally wrong for flipping on Sarah for consulting her husband. Hell they should have given them all time to have a lawyer or someone they trust review their contracts before signing.

I agree the make-up on Babs did wonders. I just wish they would do something more with Chopper and Fred's appearance. I'm still not feeling their look.

I was sooo angry when the others were flipping on Sara. Chopper was trying to make comparisons between his "girl" and Sara's husband. Chopper sweetie, like Bentley said, Sara and Tony are ONE and must converse with one another when it comes to important matters like money. You and your "girl" (not your wife) CANNOT compare.

***side note: I'm so glad that Bentley said converse and not "conversate"***

Well honestly we do not really know that Bently took them to an advisor cause that is not as flashy as going to a jeweler. Sara gets more love from me and makeup does do wonders! I was like

when I saw Babs! I had to LOL when they did not get their money. Silly Band.

Hmmm....let's see how far $8000 goes. Quite frankly, it's not that much. I don't know if they're getting checks like that every 2 weeks, once a month...or what. However, I suspect that they it will be spent very quickly by most of them. Here's how I think it will go:

Choppa: $4000 will be spent within the first 72 hours on clothes, partying, bling and FRONTIN'! He'll break off some more cash on some hoes and give some to his mom or something. If he doesn't already have a car, he'll probably run to the nearest Cadi dealership and try and get an Escalade...but he'll be quickly rejected because the only down payment he'll have left is about $500. By the end of the first week, it will all be gone...and he won't have even taken out $50 to get that jacked-up hair of his dealt with.

Fredrick: $1500 will go straight to his baby's momma. She'll spend the whole thing on a couple of over-priced outfits for their child (HELLO.....MARSHALLS?) and will spend the rest on some clothes for herself, nails and hair. He'll blow another $2000 with Choppa...FRONTIN'. He may have about $1500 left in his pocket after the second week.

Dylan: May be a little more wise. I'm a bit suspect on his sexuality, so he might be blowing some cash in the gay clubs!

Ness: Some initial spending, but will probably hold onto at least half for a quick minute.

Babs: Smart sista, I think. She'll probably help her family with some basic bills, buy herself a couple of cute outfits and the most expensive hair weave on the east coast. I think she'll hold onto a good amount of it. (probably half)

Sara: She and her husband will sit down and determine the most appropriate way to allocate the money. Sara will probably get to take about $1000 to hook herself up with the flyest Burberry bag she can find. Heck, she deserves to splurge. She has truly been through some sh!t in that house. The rest will go into various savings and investment accounts they have set up to secure their family's financial future.

Was that Chopper or Suckyourthumbsoandso?

If I was Sarah, I'd have my own attorney look at that contract. This is why so many of "us" don't have anything once we "make it". Ask Toni Braxton.

It was one of them - shoot, I don't even know anymore. I'm still mad b/c he tried to compare himself to Sara.
