I wish Jason would go away.
Then David A. Like everybody else said, he's cute, but he's no Idol.
Leaving Syesha and David Cook as the top 2.
I'm rooting for David Cook to win. I've been saying that from day 1. Love Syesha, I think she's great - thats why I want her in the top 2.

I agree with the disagreement. I think A&R guys are salivating over the cash pile that DA represents. He's the perfect age to suck into the business, take a while to mold and develop him (and I agree, I think his voice is still developing) and shove him down the tweens throats. With Hannah Montana now doing nudie photos, DA can slip right into the "good and wholesome" slot she and others have been raking in the dough from.
And I agree the kid isn't the MOST magnetic singer, but boy, he does have a voice. And with how different guys are at 22 from 17, 18, he could turn into a little dreamboat with a great voice. Although I think he might turn out a little freaky, with his Dad being such a control freak that has probably done a number on his self-esteem, he may just turn into a strange-personalitied-puppet of his label and manager.

I do not get what Simon has against Syesha.
I swear, if he fawns all over Castro, I'll throw my shoe at the TV.

Don't read srmom --
I'm beyond giddy that Castro is crashing and burning.
HOW do you forget THE CHORUS? Buh-bye.

What's he on? Is he getting high before every performance? Those are some glossy ass eyes.

David C- sounds the same pretty much.. I liked both songs alright
Syesha- loved both performances.. I wish on the Sam Cooke song she had stripped the arrangement down or sung it acapella.. her tears at the end should get her (deservedly) to the Top 3. Her first song was a tad copycat-ish but she performed well
Jason- I have no words.. he should have been gone.. I HATE him
David A.. boy the tongue bath was in effect tonight.. undeservedly. His first song.. sorry but Stand By Me is a SOUL classic regardless of the arrangement SOUL is essential and while he sung it well he had not a lick of soul and I think he failed. The second song was all cheese and that falsetto he has is horrid. Again I think he sung it ok but I just didnt care..which means he'll probably win..lol

My fiance and I were cracking up when David A. sung. With the microphone clutched firmly in the left hand and his right hand out begging for votes, we were reminded of this:

Simon has, in the past, said he misjudged the contestant and noticed he was wrong when he went back and watched them on the tele. He has even said that visa versa, that they were worse on the tele. This might be a time for Randy to say the same thing, because Syesha was pitch perfect on her second song, although the performance was conventional and tired. That performance shows that she has the best vocal range on the show. What she does not have that the davids have is an original voice, a huge fan base, and a spark that makes her seem beyond human. I don't think she is this years American Idol, but I really hope she beats out Castro this round. Fair is fair, and out of the four, she deserves to be in the final three in comparison to hippie boy.

^^^ Don't bother. Really.
The highlight was Syesha completely losing it during the judges remarks after her second song.
The lowlight, other than BOTH of Castro's performances, would be Syesha comparing the turmoil of the Civil Rights Movement to her turmoil as being a member of the top four.
Yes, she seriously did.
Despite that very unfortunate comment, I do hope that she gets to stay.
