I bought Chrisette and Angie's on the same day and I bump Chrisette's more. It is an A+ CD for me. Angie's is a solid B. Again track 9 should have been left off of the CD totally.

Don't plan on buying Alicia Keys. I have her 2nd CD and never got into. Her first was a good production.

Good info. Actually, my coworker burned me a copy of Keyshia Cole and Alicia. Alicia's cd is just okay. Keyshia on the other hand - that girl brings it! Track number 5, "I Remember," that song is the TRUTH! I'm gonna have to go on and buy that to support her.

Now I gotta get Chrisette, Angie, and Rashaun.

You're right about Keyshia. I didn't think I was going to like it, but I listened to every song without skipping. That's rare for me these days.

And for the record, "I Remember...So Sad and Lonely" is on repeat in the vehicle. Oh she puts it down on that song.

Does anyone want to hear Janet's new song?

http://www.z100.com/pages/janetpremiere.html

ETA: I read on Entertainment Weekly that the ITunes version of Mary's new album will have an extra song. I recommend this for those who don't want to do through the same stuff that happened when Jill's album came out.

MJB is alright with me!

Fade Away
Grown Woman
Roses
Dayum near the entire CD are ON IT!
Just Fine has grown on me. I did need the video to like the song. I didn't understand what she was saying; but the lyrics are are on it as well!

Raheem DeVaughn's release date is Jan 15 ()

Did anyone get Jaheim's CD? Does he still have the cornrows?

Does Jaheim do shows? Not touring really hurts these singers' artistry. Ask Tamia.

I saw him at one in VA about 2 years ago..... it was quite painful how uncomfortable he looked. Brother can sing but he got to inject more life in his performances

He and LaToya Luckett were on tour with MJB for "The Breakthrough". I saw them in Memphis. Also, he was on the mainstage at Essence on year, I think '04. He doesn't have stage presence, but can sing.

Monica didn't tour either, she could have done so much more with her career.

I saw Tamia @ Essence on year too.

Monica may have been pregnant at that time. Did she have child #2 yet?

Monica wasn't preggers when Miss Thang and the 2nd CD came out. I don't think she did much touring early in her career, nor later.
