long story short. they really are all alive, and according to published reports, all of the actors have decided to come back.
Marlena was buried (alive, somehow) and her coffin appeared to "fall" out from under her. it was kinda funny, actually.
Sami, of course, is devastated and has vowed revenge against Bo (for giving the shoot-to-kill order), Kate, and John. She has it in her head that John and Kate murdered her parents so they could be together.
Tek (who is hot, by the way) has been getting close to Lexie, who, for all intents and purposes is not attracted to him and is still mourning Abe. (Although I really like Tek, why does he seem sort of unrefined in the delivery of his lines? Like dude, this is Days of Our Lives, not Breakin 2: Electric Boogaloo.)
Celeste and her heaving bosoms have still been having pree-moe-nee-shuns, mostly that there will be more deaths. Yesterday, she saw Jennifer in a coffin. She also believes that Abe(raham) is still alive. Of course no one believes her.
Tek and Patrick had some scenes together yesterday, and Tek doesn't trust him at all.
Hope has been distraught that Shawn-Dorklass has been missing ever since before Marlena died, and of course Belle is moreso mourning Shawn being absent than her mom being dead. However, everyone believes that Shawn just skipped town to clear his head, like his dumb dad Bo-zo did so many years ago at his age.
(Sidenote, I saw a picture of Bo in a magazine around the time of the daytime emmy's, and he has MAD gray hair in his beard! I was like DANG, why is the hair on top so brown and the hair down below is so gray?)

So.....Marlena awakens to find herself wandering about a tropical Island that is a replica of salem, and she sees Alice. Marlena is all like "I knew it.....I'm dead."
And Alice is like "No, you stupid bitch, you're alive"
Okay, not really, but ever since "Blood in, blood out" a few pages ago, I have to keep Alice in character.
So she's like of course you're not dead, darling, etc etc. Soon after, Marlena is introduced to Roman and Abe and Doug. They tell her that they are all alive, but the only person they haven't seen is Tony. Also, Jack WAS there, but he disappeared.
The actors they have not shown onscreen are Jack, Cassie, Maggie, Carolinem and Victor. By the way, YES, Victor is coming back as well, even though he wasn't killed by Marlena.
The Island mystery is really shaping up nicely. Now that we know that they're all alive, it makes you wonder who is really behind it. Either Corday (Producer) or Reilly (writer) said that the story was like "Ten Little Indians" in which one of the captives is actually the mastermind behind the whole thing.
It's very entertaining, and I like seeing the scenes between Abe and Roman.
OH YEAH....they can't escape the island because of these electric barriers and whatnot. Doug got fried trying to escape, but he's okay. Also, they have all the food and clothing and water they want. A siren goes off whenever someone in Salem is "about to die." Sometimes they get locked in their houses and can't leave.

I used to love watching her and Shane. I always enjoyed when she came back to Days! It gave me that whole "its the early 90's late 80's feel". I pray for her, this must be terrible. But once word gets out she'll have so many praying for her!
