Interesting. It looks like this campus has one Agricultural sorority, Sigma Alpha. ASA will be the first NPC on campus.

ABAC is kind of a unique situation. They've been open for NPC groups to come on for a few years. The school transitioned from a 2 year to a 4 year college a few years ago. Most of the students major in something related to agriculture. It's in a small town in rural south Georgia. I wonder if the location of the school and lack of alumnae in the area made groups hesitant to colonize.

Well, I note that there is a chapter of ASA at Valdosta State University an hour to the south; so, maybe it's do-able. Best wishes to ASA!

I think there might be some odd competition between ASA and Sigma Alpha. Many girls might want to do both.

I expect that the recent transition of 2-year (which is still the majority of the programs) to 4-year was a major stumbling block. Plus a lot of the students are nontraditional and might not be interested in Greek life.

I didn't know there was an ASA chapter at Valdosta State. That makes it a great choice for ABAC! It will be great to have another chapter close by the colony. Glad to see ABAC growing!

Question? Has a NPC extension bulletin been issued in the past months?

The last I saw was summer 2018, but I don't look for them on a regular basis.

TriSig was installed today at Penn State, per the GL Director (a Phi Tau). 129 women were initiated.
