1. Ashland University
2. Epsilon Nu
3. Collegian
4. I am currently our Finance Assistant.
5. I decide to join a sorority because my freshman year was really rough. I needed a strong support system and I saw how happy so many of my friends were in sororities, but specifically in ADPi. The girls made me feel very welcome and I know that I could go to almost any of them at any time with anything.
6. I just joined last semester, so I don't have very many memories yet. However, the moment on Bid Day of running to my new sisters was absolutely amazing. They welcomed all of us. It was a swarm of hugs, tears, and smiles.

Welcome, txviolet! ADPi was my last choice going into Rush (which is what it was still called back then!), but by the time pref night came, I knew that's where I wanted to be. I went to a small school with only 4 sororities, so the big school stories like yours are very interesting to me; I love to hear how even if a girl doesn't get her first choice, it turns out to be exactly where she was meant to be.

1) Allegheny College
2) Eta Beta Chapter
3) Collegian
4) I'm a new member, so for right now I'm on PR committee.
5) I wasn't expecting to join ADPi - I dropped them before Pref Night and got called back anyway. It was Pref Night that made me realize I was called back for a reason, and I was meant to be with this sisterhood. I was up all night before Bid Day, certain being called back was a fluke and I would get a bid.
6) Run Out during Bid Day - an Allegheny Greek tradition of walking to one of the halls together and doing our cheers, then each fraternity and sorority running out one by one and doing more cheers and songs. It's how we welcome new members into Greek life, and it's both overwhelming and one of the most fun experiences you have as a new member.

Welcome to GreekChat, VioletLioness! My roomie was Eta Beta's first Chapter Advisor, and we both helped recruit the colony members. Allegheny will always have a special place in my heart!

If you see something with Kris O'Shea on it, that would be she. Sadly, when they took the formal Colony Installation photo, she was indisposed.

Did one of y'all get NEViolet's contact info? I believe she was accidentally banned.
