OSU has a great schedule...they get to play top 25 and top 15 teams in Penn State and Iowa, neither of which have shown themselves to be very good. But it looks good on paper.
Also, UGA scraped by again, with some help from the officiating crew in Oxford.

PSU isn't as good as we were in 2005 but we kept the OSU offense to 14 points. FOURTEEN POINTS!! It doesn't count but it's a nice moral victory to have.
PSU plays Minnesota next week before Michigan week begins. If we can go 5-1 over our next games, we'll be 8-4 and headed to the Outback Bowl this year. If Morelli would get his head straight, we'd be in much better shape but no one expected BCS this year. 2007 is a different story.

Michigan-Ohio State last week of the season is going to be huge. Iowa can still pull a three way tie, win @ Michigan, Michigan wins @ Ohio State, but maybe that's too much wishful thinking after Ohio State rolled through town.

I think Ohio State deserves to be no. 1, obviously. I'm just saying their schedule is much tougher on paper than in reality. Now, I do think by Jan. there may be teams who could beat OSU. The only team I could see beating OSU right now is LSU, they're nasty.

So, Emmitt Smith said last night that he thinks USC will win the BCS over Ohio State. He said he doesn't think his Florida team is as good as its ranking (though he wants to be wrong), and he thinks that Auburn is not up to par with USC or Ohio State.
Hey, I'm not makin this up!

I'd love for Auburn to play USC. Tommorow. Just like 2004, "Name a time and place, and we'll be there." Now Ohio State, I think Auburn could play with them, but I don't know that they could win at this point. We'll have to see how the teams develop as the year goes on.

That's closer than I thought it would be!
Meanwhile, my Hoosiers beat the Illini on a (literally) last-second field goal, to win 34-32. At one point IU was down 25-7!
