I heard the Air Force isn’t going to change it.

Here’s some interesting information about the Tuskegee Airmen. The Germans called them “Schwartze Vogelmenschen” which means “black birdmen” because they were distinctly more difficult to fight and they were so effortless in the air.

Seems like people in the Air Force could learn a thing or two.

There is no way I can possibly plan all of the major events that I have to plan over the next few months. I'm so overwhelmed

Planning a wedding on a different continent is definitely a time.

Nope!

Sorority Statewide luncheon on 4/5/2025
Kiwanis Music BINGO fundraiser on 3/1/2025
Kiwanis Craft & Vendor show fundraiser on 3/30/2025
Kiwanis leadership conference on 4/26/2025
Bridal shower for future Daughter in Law on 4/27/2025

I do have help with all of them, but each is still a lot of work.

Our dog Pippin is a wily little rascal. He went into the pantry and figured out how to get one of his Woof Stick treats out of the bag without us noticing. Then he stashed it behind a couch pillow for safe keeping. Last night he helped himself to another one; we noticed him nonchalantly eating one on the couch. We moved the bag to a higher shelf just in time, because he tried to go back for seconds and was thwarted by the new location. Now I'm looking at the inventory and wondering how long he's been doing this, lol.

Found out that an Alpha Gam was on the plane that crashed last night, along with her husband and their 11 and 14 year old daughters who were with the figure skaters on the flight. So very sad.

Honestly Phroze- the world is so depressing right now it's hard to be online at all.

Let’s just say my life is currently sponsored by Girl Scout cookies and sports snacks. Both girls had their cookie rally (our house will be drowning in Thin Mints), one’s flipping at gymnastics, the other’s swinging through tennis, and I’m just here trying to remember which kid goes where.

WIFLSRN: I’m here at my gym ready to workout before work, which I do every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. And I just saw on my phone that Trump is blaming the plane crash on DEI. Oh, that’s exactly the kind of nonsense that’s fueling my Friday morning gym session today. I was already set for my usual pre-work kickboxing, but now? That punching bag is Trump, and it’s about to regret every dumb word that came out of his mouth.
