If your 11 year old cousin and her friends would wear it, or if they sell a look just like in Limited Too, then you should not be wearing it.

She just wanted to use "croxfords" in a sentence. It'll be ok.

I do like them, but just for on the boat! I think they'd be nice for on the boat - not too slippery and water wouldn't stay in my shoes.

Also, my friends and I agreed that our fashion don't are the camis that have the "waist" right under your boobs. They make the skinniest girl in the world look like she's hiding a pregnancy.

I'll take a stab at your question. Now, I'm no "fashion plate," but I do have an individual sense of style that makes me feel comfortable and falls within the realm of "stylish" without following every single trend that comes and goes in a season. It seems to me that fashion isn't as hard and fast, black and white as we would like to convey. If it was, we wouldn't see the differences of opinion that are obvious in this thread or simply by walking out on the street for two seconds. Fashion is like art. Some will love it; some will hate it. We can talk about what's "in-style" because there seems to always be a majority of people who take to a certain look or a certain item. The stores aren't exactly "wrong." They are just throwing out an idea and waiting to see if it catches on. If not, they're on to the next thing. AND...stores are out there to SELL CLOTHES and MAKE MONEY. They know that even the people with no sense of style and no desire to gain one are not allowed to go to work nude...that's why you still see those awful polyester pants with elastic waistbands in otherwise trendy department stores.
Yeah...it's fun to throw around the Do and Do nots, but honestly, some people will feel great and really pull off something that other people would die before wearing. The real danger seems to be things that are destined to be fads and will fade quickly and be deliberately revived at a later date (ie. leggings). Some kind of generational joke, I think

I was going to try to come up with a snarky comment to go along with these shoes, but nothing I could think of could possibly do them justice. adpiucf, you up to the challenge?
