I agree.

I am so proud of Carrie. She was amazing! She and Bo are still my favorites, although I don't think Bo was as good tonight as he usually is.

I thought Constantine, Mikalah, and Anthony were the worst... And I hope that Mikalah goes home tomorrow.

I thought so too!

LOL

Is it just me or does Simon tell someone different each week that he predicts they will win?

================

My take on the performances:

Anthony - i didn't see the performance (i was making dinner! yum!) but based on the few seconds they showed at the end, it looked like he did "ok"

Carrie - even though i was scared her hair was going to come alive, i thought her performance was GREAT. i think it was really smart of her to break from the whole country mold. i don't know about simon's comments about her winning though.

Scott - great performance!

Bo - for some reason, his performance was just "ok" for me.

Nikko - Woohoo! I loved the performance.

Vonzell - VAST improvement over last week's performance!! nice range!

Constantscream - blah blah and more blah. Sorry bud, the Partridge family doesn't "rock" I agreed w/ Simon's anology of a poodle in a leather jacket

Nadia - I think she's done way better vocally before. Her hair was kind of distracting to me.. the whole time i was thinking "i wonder how long it took to get her hair like that?"

Mikablah - EWWW! I think she kinda sounded today like she was congested or nasal-ly or something... it was also kinda pitchy

Anwar - it was nice to see him try a different type of music... the performance was pretty ok

Jessica - Pretty good

My top 3 this week:
Carrie
Nikko
Vonzell

My bottom 3 this week:
(surprise surprise!) constantscream
(surprise surprise!) mikeblah
Nadia

I think mikablah will be gone this week

I only caught Constannoying (yeah - lucky me!), Nadia, Anwar, and Mikayla (dang - one of us should learn how to spell her name correctly before she leaves )

Needless to say, Constannoying is absolutely wretched. He is gaining weight faster than a fat woman at the new two-in-one Dairy Queen/Krispy Kreme grand opening, and he is NOT a rocker. And WTH is up with holding the mike upside down with his hand - that was weird.

Nadia was okay - that is one of my all-time-fav songs, so I don't think she did it justice. Cyndi Lauper is one-of-a-kind - let her be.

Anwar I thought did well. I love that song also, and I think he was decent.

Mikahla (dang I feel like Tom spelling her name!) as usual suck-ed. I loved her during the auditions - she was cute and peppy. Now she is like 74 and ready for the retirement home. Her voice has gone downhill, and other than a last-minute effort to get rid of Constannoying, I must say she should go home.

What did Bo, Nikko, and Scott sing? I hope all three continue to do well. I missed getting to see Nikko - he is the only sex appeal for this show... for the women who like men anyways.

Bo sang "Time In a Bottle".. not sure who the original artist was but it's an oldie/goodie! For some reason when he came on during that mini-segment where they talk about why they chose the song, the first time I looked at the "Time In a Bottle" caption, I thought it was "Genie In a Bottle".. thankfully I was wrong

Nikko sang "Incomplete" ? by Sisqo I think? Or someone who used to be part of "Dru Hill"?

Scott.. ah! I don't remember what he sang... it was a good performance tough!

I think for sure Mikalah goes home this time. That performance was just sad.
I was so busy trying to figure out what was the deal with Nadia's hair that I didn't really hear her!

"Time in a Bottle" is by Jim Croce. Yes, "Incomplete" is by Sisqo. Scott sang "Against All Odds."

I just got this ridiculous image in my head of Bo singing "Genie in a Bottle"

ROFL

Yes it would have probably been somewhat ridiculous, but I think with Bo's talent, he would have made Christina Aguilera proud!

I think that once Mikayla (sp?) is gone, it's going to be very hard to determine who should go next. (I'm not anti-Constantine as some are.. he reminds a lot of us of a typical Detroit rocker dude, and for us old ladies, to sing that David Cassidy song was really cool and fun, because we all had crushes on David!)

My faves: Carrie, Nadia (even though tonight wasn't her best), Bo

Dee

Exclamation CRAP

All the votes from tonight are now considered null & void. Apparently there was a snafu with the numbers where people who thought they were voting for Anwar, Mikala, & Jessica were in fact getting their votes routed to Anthony among others. The show will re-air tomorrow with the voting done tomorrow & the new results show will be on on Thursday.

Holy Lord, someone lit a fire under these kids' asses. I can pinpoint who will probably go home, but after tonight it's gonna be rough. But the top 10 and the tour should be fabulous no matter HOW cheesy it is. Anyway, recaps from me:

Antonlily/Clay Lite: [Aikenfangirlieness] So, tonight's song was a song that Aiken did on tour last summer... WHY is he (or 19E) trying to push this on everyone? Granted finding a rabid fanbase will be a goal, but you also end up with all the HATERS that Aiken has/had. Argh... BE YOURSELF and your own individual artist... oh wait, what am I talking about... [/Aikenfangirlieness]
Whew... now that's out of my system, he wasn't a bad carbon copy attempt. Boy has muscles though. I still think his hair should be dark because, in front of a white canvas, he'd be a polar bear in December.

Carrie: HOLY COW! The hair was rivaling Nadia but DAMN that girl can sing. She needs to ditch the country twang for a bit and just rock out a la Kelly Clarkson. And I LOVE that song. So YAY! If I cared, I would vote for her.

Scott: I can see him being the bottom 3. He just doesn't do it for me. Meh. Forgettable. Song was good though.

Bo: Still love Bo. Looks like a pro and liked that he was subdued. I wish he would just NOT be in the competition so he wouldn't be screwed over by that awful contract.

Nikko: All this guys needs to do is sing "All My Life" and he can probably be the romantic of the group. I still think he's cute... but have this fear that he won't last long. Even though he should probably stay longer than some. {See below}

Constantcrap: Does Partridge Family? I thought this guy was supposed to be a rocker? Not cheeseball pop tunes. Sigh... go away, your identity confuses me.

Nadia: Not her fault, but I turned the volume down. Oops. I was trying to record my new voicemail message. Though I did notice, um, the hair. Well, she's an individual for sure, but unfortunately, Cindy Lauper is pretty much one herself. Hard to imitate or cover, I think... unless you completely change it up.

MehKAHla - Yeah I can't spell her name either. But who cares, she'll probably be going home this week anyway. So I hope. She better not become the Carmen of the group. I don't think I could handle it.

Vonzell - I liked her. And I liked the song. And I agree with Simon, I think more people will remember her this time around because she blew the roof off that one.

Anwar - What happened? Seriously? I didn't really like him this week. And I'm used to hearing that song in about 4 part harmony... the backup singers weren't doing their jobs. I don't know... something was off with him tonight.

Jessica - I hate that song. I don't hate her... just that song. But she sounded good. I guess.

Bottom 3:
Hmmm....
Mikkles for sure
Scottie
Connie... please!

Top 3:
Carrie
Vonzell
Bo

I think some of y'all are smoking some mad crack because how the eff does Bo sound good to you guys? "Time in a Bottle" is a lovely song -- but I don't think Jim Croce would have been proud of that!

Carrie was unbelievable tonight. I hope she can continue to surprise us each week and step out of her shell.

WTF was up with Nadia's hair? Um, no.

Simon praised Jessica Sierra, but I just didn't see it. I thought the whole point was to take the song and make it your own. To me it didn't even reach Bonnie Tyler status.

Mikalah's going home on Thursday. I just know it.

I don't even bother voting anymore.
