No kidding. Mr. texas went to New Jersey for awhile for his work. He ventured to NYC with some co-workers and went to .. I think it was a TGI's type restaurant for a burger with fries.

It was almost $16!!!! That didn't even include beer!

Here you can get a burger with fries for $6.. and the beer isn't expensive either

That right there is the main reason why I always debate about moving cross the river, then ultimately change my mind. When I want musuems, Central Park, broadway, etc I go over and have a great day. Then I can come home and have a good burger at a decent price.

I know a few girls from my hometown who moved here out of college thinking they'd be able to live a "Sex and the City" lifestyle on a publisher's assistant's (or gallery assistant or whatever) salary. But the thing is, Carrie & co. are NOT right out of college - they are all in their late 30s! And Samantha is over 40.

I'm not saying that their lifestyle is realistic for a 37 year old; rather, these 21-22-23 year olds THINK they're just like Carrie Bradshaw. The truth is, they need to wait 14 more years till they'll be like her.

Being single in your 30s is waaaaay different than in your 20s.
