I'd greatly appreciate any prayers/kind thoughts for our family. Thank you.

So a bit of an update...
The details I have been receiving thus far have been very piece by piece. We now know 100% that the tumor removed from her ovary was malignant. However, all other tests came back clear and they are sure that the cancer has not spread. A board of doctors reviewed her case and because it was only this tumor, chemo is not needed at this time! Of course she will be extremely closely monitored as time goes on, but we are so thrilled to hear this news!
Thank you all who offered kind thoughts and prayers.

Prayers up for all of the above. And honeychile, don't feel like one issue is less worthy of prayer or concern than another. It's not
Tomorrow is the day the kids are all wearing their shirts to school. The principal is letting them all out of 5th hour to take a big group picture. There is a band concert tomorrow night so those parents who bought them (including me) will wear them tomorrow also. I just hope my flight isn't delayed. I will get back in time to get to the band concert if there are no glitches.

Thanks, Dee. Seeing Flo in a cast that looks bigger than she is, and knowing that she may be looking at three more weeks in the hospital just makes me want to cry for her.
Your daughter's friends are the type who give me hope for today's teens, after all the horror stories we hear. Please give her a pat on the back for me.

The principal let them have an assembly and all the kids who bought shirts were there. They gave G her gifts AND the local paper came and took pictures. G posted on her Facebook tonight: Before I go to bed, I just want to thank everyone. You guys are the best. I feel honored just knowing you guys.
She was really surprised. They had a band concert tonight and they do a thing where they honor the seniors by calling them up one at a time, reading what they plan to do for college and words of wisdom that each of them say. When G was called, the audience roared.. it was deafening. I believe this young lady has gotten the message that she is NOT alone in this. My next goal is to try to get some of the Red Wings to visit her during chemo. They do a lot of that, but only for minors and she is a HUGE fan. I really hope they do it.
As with anything, there are more good teens out there than bad, you just don't hear about the good ones that much.

So, as I posted in "What do you feel like saying . . ." - my husband lost his job. Please, please - let him find a new one soon.

My friend's father was just diagnosed with prostate cancer and it has spread to his lymphoid system. They don't know if they can treat him, they do know he'll probably never fully recover. Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you.

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers, she just told me the cancer hasn't spread to his bones and they are going ahead with multiple surgeries.

Prayers for him and your sister. My dog injured his leg Tuesday. I thought he was doing well, but it appears to be infected. This dog is the one and only pet who has every been fully mine. Yes, it's just a dog - but Kaiser has been a wonderful comfort in my trials and tribulations this year. Money is so tight - prayers for his healing would be appreciated.

Antibiotics are super cheap. I know the vet visit may not be, but the meds should be if you can get him in.

Two students got into a car accident on their way home. One didn't make it and the other is critical. This is on top of two students dying in a car accident a week ago. I would appreciate your prayers for the victims, the community and those who have to try to make this make sense to those who are hurting.

The Panhellenic community at Penn State has lost a member of Sigma Delta Tau today due to injuries sustained in a car accident on the way to a canning trip. Other sisters of SDT, as well as brothers of KDR also sustained injuries in the crash. Please keep them, their families, and their brothers and sisters in your prayer this weekend.
