Surprises like this are always so fun! Recently, I learned that my dad's cousin (my second cousin) was an Alpha Phi at our Sigma chapter. She and her husband were visiting, and I surprised her by saying, "You know, we're cousins, but we're also sisters." Then I whispered something in her ear, and she completely understood what I meant...she was thrilled, and spent a fun afternoon sharing stories.

Why I chose Alpha Phi: They chose me! Some wonderful friends - now sisters - recommended me for membership, and I'm so glad they did! I've already met some wonderful women in the local alumnae group and can't wait to get more involved.
