Graduation ceremony isn't until January but I don't mind the wait. I'm just thrilled I passed & finished.

Now I get to relax (FINALLY!) but first, picking up my graduation gift from my hubby. My 2011 race red Ford Mustang. WOOHOO! I love muscle cars & I've always wanted a Mustang.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!

I applied to their Counseling Psych grad program and am still pissed about it a year later. They lost all of my materials including GRE scores (sent electronically) and the $50 fee, ADMITTED that they were probably in a stack of unopened mail somewhere yet refused to process the app (filled out online) till I re-submitted all my materials INCLUDING getting my recommenders to redo the letters and paying the money again. A couple weeks ago, my mom told me a letter came to the house from them. It was a rejection letter from LAST YEAR saying I was denied admission because they did not receive all my materials by the deadline but encouraged me to apply again this year. Howard can kiss my arse.

Intervention Specialist (Mild/Moderate)

This is something that I have been interested in for awhile and is kind of tied to the work I've been doing recently (working in the mental health field).

I'm excited.

Congratulations, Violet! I think a friend of mine works in a similar field and she absolutely loves it. Best of luck to you!

Today, I contacted financial aid. I'm about to see what the damage is for this upcoming fall. Uggghhh pray for me!

I'm so excited to be coming back to school! I've been waiting since age 5 to start my doctorate. I can't believe it's finally here.

EEK and YAY.

What field of study?

Maybe you'll get lucky and won't have to play the waiting game as long? Mine was relatively short (5 weeks!)

Higher Education and Student Affairs.

I could potentially hear back from two by the end of January, but one wasn't due until March 1st, so unless they make rolling descisions I probably won't hear for a while. Like you, I'm checking my application status daily, lol. Congrats!

I am LITERALLY fresh off of the graduation ceremony stage! LOL...I'd like to attend grad school for an MBA, but (I feel like I can be honest), I'm a little scared to take the GRE. So many people say it's so hard.

Don't get me wrong, that won't discourage me from doing it anyway, but I would really like to get a satisfying score! Any tips on how to "study"?? How often should I study and how long before I take the test should I start?

Study as much as you can in whatever way you can. Seriously. I didn't prepare as much as I should have and my scores reflected that, to be frank. I did well enough, but my GRE definitely won't be making me stand out.

If you think the class is going to work for you, do it. If you're more self-motivated I think getting a study book would be just as good.

As an aside - and I'll admit I don't know much about this - don't you have to work for a few years before you can get your MBA?
