All that my evite thru Zeta says is: If it rains that day, an alternate location will be distributed. Not much help. So hopefully I hear something before Friday evening.

This just in....
If the Rooftop is closed due to rain, we'll be meeting at the Stanhope across the street from the Met: 995 5th Avenue.
Now back to your regularly scheduled program...

I was there last week for Museum Mile. There were specials on sangria and mojiots Btwn the view and the drink, I was a happy gal. Hopefully Friday will be ok...but...we'll see. I'd rather have cool & rainy than hot & humid weather.
It's a nice spot you should go one night without the NYC Greek world!

Hmmm. Go out without the NYC Greek World. That's a novel concept, lol.
Actually, we have a rooftop with a great view. Fiancé and I had dinner with wine up there a few weeks ago. He was being romantic.
My eyes are giving me some problems so I won't be going out for a while until they clear up. I'll know more tomorrow after I see the doctor.

Eh, I'm going to the 'rents in Florida for the holiday weekend.
It sounds like fun, though.
The Met rooftop, after two years of trying to make it there, was great. Good times were had by all.

Not from New York, but I'll be in Bensonhurst Brooklyn on July 2nd!
Too bad I have no way of getting around.

I don't think I can go on that day My friend in Long Island is having her annual 4th of July Bash that day. I am welcome to bring friends though if you guys want to make the trek out East. She lives right near the LIRR too. And her husband and his friends spent like $2000 on fireworks this year she tells me.

July 2nd is looking possibly a no go for me. I'm going to be driving around the state of NJ in a van with a giant hot dog on top with the Star Ledger newspaper crew, ranking 4th of july parties. The newspaper said we're either going July 2nd or July 4th.
So maybe we should pick another day?
On an unrelated note, I was over in Coney Island with my brother and some friends today. We went to the aquarium and then I ate at Nathans and rode the Cyclone.
