Woman charged with providing teens alcohol
By MELISSA MILEWSKI
Bucks County Courier Times
UPPER MORELAND - Megan Smith's personal Web page is filed with tributes to her three children, showering them with compliments and patting herself on the back for spoiling them.
Police say the 36-year-old Willow Grove woman might have gone too far in indulging her 14-year-old daughter by providing her with alcohol and a motel room to spend the night with a teenage boy.
Smith was arrested by Upper Moreland police two months ago for hosting an underage drinking party for about 25 ninth-graders. Her son, Jimmy, was later charged with raping a 14-year-old girl who got drunk at the party.

Man Denies He Abused Son For Stealing His Pot
POSTED: 2:35 pm EDT April 15, 2004
BONIFAY, Fla. -- A father acknowledged tying his 15-year-old son to a barn post, but he denied Thursday charges that he fired a handgun near the teen's head or that the punishment was for stealing his marijuana.
Sean Stewart, who was arrested Tuesday, said marijuana had nothing to do with why he tied the boy to the post two months ago but was unable to recall exactly why he did it. He said he fired the gun at a beer can 100 yards away, not at or near his son's head.
Before firing the gun, Stewart said he gave it to his son and told the boy to shoot him, but he wouldn't do it.
"I would never shoot at my children," Stewart told The Associated Press in a telephone interview. "I just tried to scare the child because I couldn't whip him."
Holmes County sheriff's deputies arrested Stewart, 39, on charges that included aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and child abuse. He was released Wednesday from the county jail on a $31,000 bond.
Investigators alleged Stewart blamed the boy when he found a half-pound of marijuana missing, tied a rope around his neck, hands and feet and blasted several shots near his head with a .357 Magnum.

Kill Mom But Don't Hurt TV, Teen Tells Hitman
Fri Apr 16, 7:42 AM ET
MIAMI (Reuters) - A Florida teen charged with hiring an undercover policeman to shoot and kill his mother instructed the purported hitman not to damage the family television during the attack, police said on Thursday.
Police in the southwestern Florida city of Fort Myers arrested the boy, 17-year-old Carlos Chereza, on Tuesday on a charge of soliciting to commit first-degree murder.
Tipped by an informant that Chereza had offered to pay to have his mother killed, an undercover detective posed as someone willing to do the job, Fort Myers police said.

See that is why society is dwindling so much.
We think of the materialistic rather than the human aspect of life. He can not remember because he smoked the stuff and his brain was fried!

Now that I am wondering, what kind of telly was it? If it was one of those plasma ones or not?
that shows what happened. Mom tok way his TV privileges for his bad grades or she caught him doing something "ungodly."
What is up with the youth of today?

Germany is a weird place
Sorry, couldn't find the link.
BERLIN, Germany (Reuters) -- A German woman and a male friend face prosecution for human trafficking after they put the woman's daughter up for auction on the Internet at a starting price of one euro, about $1.20, authorities said Wednesday.
A photograph of the 8-year-old child was posted by the man, from the Bavarian town of Traunstein, who later told police he had placed the offer to test the online auction system.
The senior state prosecutor investigating the case said both the man, 35, and mother, 41, faced charges of attempted child trafficking.
"Three people made offers for the child and the bidding price reached 25.50 euros [$30.25] before the item was removed after between three to four hours by the company's security," he said.
Like other countries in western Europe, Germany has seen a surge in human trafficking in recent years as well as a number of high-profile child pornography cases often connected with the Internet.

Gay Lovers Climb Tree, Then Have Sex
NEW YORK - Two gay lovers — a man in a black dress and a boy in only a pair of shorts — protested their families' lack of understanding for their relationship by climbing a Central Park tree on Thursday, stripping, performing lewd acts in front of onlookers and refusing to come down for hours.

While reading that article I saw this one about banning low-slung pants in Louisiana
I'm sorry but this is down right stupid. There are definately more pressing issues here in Louisiana than that
