Some legal-sounding classes with impressive names, like "lawyering process."

Geochemistry.
Then I'm done...for at least a year. Until I decide if I want to take a semester or a year off before my EdD

Federal income tax sounds scary! Then again, I'm trying to stay away from math for the rest of my college career, I can't stand it! Actually, I don't like math OR science, I have to take like four sciences for core requirements though, yuck!

It's actually not so scary if you have a good professor. I did really well in the class.....but I was always a math person. Go figure that I ended up being a lawyer.

I am working on my Ed.S. (education specialist) degree in higher education. This is what my spring is looking like...
Spring 2008:
Legal Issues in Higher Education
The School and Community
Education Research II
^^^^the first part of this research class we spent working on our long as hayle proposals and getting IRB approval. The second part of the class we are actually going to conduct our research and compete our reports. The second part of the research class is not required but when my professor told me that it will knock out some requirements for my degree and that she would help me I jumped on it. She has been so helpful and will definitely be on my dissertation committee when I expand this same study . Work smart yall!!!

Today was the second day of the quarter. I'm French 3, Intro to Teaching, and Spanish Culture.
French 3 is exactly the way it sounds. I know like 1/3 of my class.
Intro to teaching! I love it already! I want to get my teaching cred after UCSC. I'm excited to do observation hours later in the quarter.
Spanish Culture is an upper division class taught in Spanish. I've already had the teacher and like him a lot. It's going to be a little challenging to get back into the Spanish mind-set, but I did really well today!
