Thanks for all the advise she has decided to stick with her original dress but we did buy a really cute LBD today that she can wear to something else. Moving in in less than a month. We are all so excited!

At midnight last night, my Gamma Chi DD deactivated her Facebook page, and we spent yesterday taking her letters off her car and sorting out the 90% of her t-shirts that she won't be wearing for the next couple of months. Recruitment 2014 is officially getting real!

A chapter has put up their own what-to-wear page...I wasn't expecting the jumpsuit, but what do we old people know?

You know all that talk about "the 1%"? It has nothing to do with economic status. It is the population who can wear jumpsuits past the age of 8.

That white dress on skit day is making me hella nervous.

I've noticed jumpsuits and rompers making a comeback too. Seems kind of retro and I'd be hesitant for pref but I'm sure some fashion savvy girls could pull it off with the right accessories. I still think I'd recommend a dress.

Yesterday my cousin posted a #tbt pic on FB from 1986, where she had on a jumpsuit, which she said are now "in" again, and that was the first I was hearing of it. So, yeah, apparently, it's true.

Oh, I dig jumpsuits hardcore, don't get me wrong. It's just that I ceased to have a body that looks good in one a loooooong time ago.

My six year old is currently rocking the romper look. SO CUTE. I would look like the Michelin man.

My PNM loves the rompers, but she can pull them off. She's too short for the jumpsuits.

33girl, I'm with you on the white dress.

oooh I LOOOOVE! the Jumpsuit-- so retro chic :-) I bought one several years ago in Paris because the sales girl talked me into it-- it sat in my closet for 2 years because I was scared to "start the trend" in the US--- I was brave enough to "bust it out" this spring for a cocktail party… I have since bought 2 more-- soooo comfortable and effortless!

and no- the irony is not lost on me that I wore a Laura Ashley "bubble romper" to ice water round 25 years ago :-)

PNM's are so lucky they are given T-shirts these days….
