I selected the standard badge. I have decided to upgrade to the one with pearls and rubies for one of the anniversaries of my membership.
My hubby has been so supportive of me. I didn't want to push it with the membership fees AND the most expensive badge! 
Sorry to disappoint...

Doesn't matter what kind of badge you get. After working so hard for it and waiting so long, it will be the most beautiful badge out there because it's yours and is the one that has meaning to you.

The warm responses that I've gotten here and in my PM box have just been overwhelming. Thank you! I feel so loved
I just want to make a quick comment, mostly for all the AI-hopefuls here.
Believe me, being asked rather than doing the asking is a totally different experience. We often use the word "pursuit" to describe the journey to AI. For almost 3 years, I experienced that. I "pursued" AI in Little Women, but suddenly, the tables turned--instead of a pursuit, AI truly began to feel like an honor that was extended to me by someone who cared about me and saw that I was a good fit for her sisterhood. Of course, I hope that every member of a GLO feels honored to be a member of his or her respective organization. I'm just trying to awkwardly articulate how different it feels to be "wanted" without having to feel like a negotiator. Once I found my home, AI wasn't such a struggle after all.
