Drat. I'd like to throw a few unforgivable curses around.

Lame that they are blaming the strike... And a whole year? I think WB just wants to cash in one summer movie going and break a new record. Jerks.

What in the name of Merlin's most baggy Y-fronts are they doing?? Everyone at WB are nothing more than a bunch of floppy wanded dementor-boggers.

Sheesh. By the time the two movies from Deathly Hallows are made, nobody is going to care anymore and the actors will be retirement age.

Whats even more LAME is the stupid teaser trailer says NOVEMBER as the release month. GRRR to stupid Warner Brothers. Its bad enough that they are splitting book 7 into two movies (because lets face it, in reality they could make it one 3 hour movie, but they don't want too), releasing them like 6 months apart to get more money from us unwitting fools who will pay it.

I don't get why WB would want a July release date in the first frickin place. Transformers 2 is coming out next summer. Terminator 4 is also coming out next summer. It just seems like a really stupid time to be releasing a movie. Because lets face it, HP vs. Transformers, Transformers is going to win, hands down.

The worse part is, by pushing the release from November to July that means the first part of Deathly Hallows won't be released in May 2010 (as originally scheduled). As if the actors aren't starting to "look their age" in the first place

It has to do with the fact that due to the writer's strike, they won't have anything big to come out next summer, I guess. Everything will be out by spring or won't be through with production until after the summer.

They'll still go ahead and film DH as scheduled -- they have to because the actors, director and everyone else have that time blocked out. (I'm told the plan is to begin filming early this spring, when Daniel Radcliff finished "Equus.") They'll just hold it in the can longer.

Still . . . Boooo! Boooo!

My daughter came running out of her room to tell me that since HP was moved to July, Twilight was moved up to be released November 21st.

Confirmed on StephenieMeyer.com!

OMG, I'd love that! I was worried about having to go see it by myself but the only good thing about this being pushed back is that I'll be able to be home to see it with my sister.

But that's reaching for a silver lining. I still wanna go through the streets screaming, YOU COMPLETE ARSE,WARNER BROTHERS!!

ETA: VOLDEMORT'S NIPPLE!!! I just realized that the conference I'm leading ends the day the movie comes out so I won't get back till the day after. Ooooh, this is such unicorn turds!

NOT "Voldemort's nipple" AND "unicorn turds".
