I went to deltazeta.org and cannot find any evidence of a chapter in the UK- closed or open. I am still unsure if there is an alumni group in the UK. I have seen the claim to UK chapters/presence of many DZ websites. I wonder how this got started.

OTW said they had heard of a Tri Sigma chapter in Germany...has anyone else heard of any GLO chapters outside of North America?

Collegiate chapters, NO. (With the exception of Tri Sigma in Germany, but that was at a German campus for the University of Maryland, I believe)

NPC alumnae chapters and GLO alumnae chapters, YES.

*Tri Sigma is the first sorority to establish an international chapter outside of North America.

This is something I found on the web and it is true. You were right, OTW, it was a chapter associated with the University of Maryland. The chapter has since closed. I hear there was a second Germany chapter but I am not sure if this was true.

Delta has 1 collegiate and 1 alumnae chapter in Nassau, Bahamas.

The rest of our international chapters are alumnae.

I didn't know Delta had a collegiate chapter in the Bahamas. I knew the NPHC sororities had many international alumnae chapters. Very cool.

Pi Phi has alum groups in France, UK, Japan... I could be missing some. But as far as collegiate, only the US and Canada.

Yeah the fraternity system as we know it over here isn't really that popular in other countries, though Germany does have something similar.

There is/at one time was an actual physical alumnae group for DZ in England, however, I last heard it was rather dormant. There was never a collegiate chapter there, although there had been some interest from a university (don't recall which one) over there (at least that's what I've been told).

I also believe that the fraternity system is popular in the Philippines.
