I'm impatient, hot tempered, and very snarky like mom.
On the good side, I'm told that I'm very knowledgeable of our family and geneaology, passionate for what I believe in, active and on the go just like her. I also walk and hold my purse the same way she does.
Now if only I could COOK just like her...

Amen to that. My mom is an incredible cook, and I burn water.
The really weird thing that I share with my mom is that our voices are almost identical. My own grandmother can't tell if it's me or my mom on the phone.

I am like my mom in more ways than I could ever list here:
Independent, crave information, politically aware and opinionated, caring, thoughtful, loving, involved with children, involved in the community, same sense of humor... I am so lucky to be so much like her. And dang, I miss her.

My mother and I are cookie cutter images of each other, including how we look. A sister of mine once saw her at her place of work (had no idea she was my mom, we have different last names so that couldn't be it) and called me saying, "Does your mom work here and is this her name??" because she said she looked EXACTLY like me.
About the only way we are different is that she is MUCH more patient than me...but I'm hoping that will come with time

I look more like her (but have Dad's nose, thank God. Cute little turned up noses look silly on someone 5'8".) I apparently sound a LOT like her when I talk, although of course it's hard for you to tell this on yourself, but it's enough to freak out my cousins and for people calling my dad to be taken aback when I pick up the phone. I do have some of her mannerisms/wordings, but I can see things I get from my dad as well, and I don't think people realize the ways I am like my dad.
Oh, and thank you Mom & Grandma for the wrinkle free (knock on wood) genes.

I'm nothing like my mother. We're the total opposite, but yet she and I are SO close.

I have definitely picked up my mother's hot temper and sarcasm. I was just talking to my husband about it last night! I sometimes feign disappointment or sadness instead of fighting, but in the next moment I'm fine again. My husband calls it passive aggressive. How can I be both aggressive and passive aggressive? LOL!

^^^It's possible! I'm the same way--it takes a truly special talent to be both!

I've been told my boiled vegetables taste like smoke. I begged my mom for years to teach me how to cook!
I have my mother's hands. IDK whether to excited that I finally have something on me that looks like my mom or if I should be upset that I'm only 22 y.o. but have 64 y.o. hands.

I'm actually much more like my father in personality and temperament. I'm much more laid back than my mom, but I think I got an equal share of strength and humor from her through her nurture as I got from my dad through nature.
One of my brothers is very much like my mom -- too much so for their own good, at times. I recall some periods of time during our teen years, living with those two was like witnessing the clash of the titans. They both somehow survived it, though, and he's still more like her than I am (he doesn't like when I tell him that, though -- nor does his wife ). Maybe that's a thing for some guys, I catch my husband turning into his mom sometimes. I call him on it quickly though, with a "sure, (his mom's name)", and that always snaps his brain to attention. I don't think he cares for it either.
I think my hands are shaped similar to both my mom and her mom, so I guess that counts for something.

Holy fricken crap, the house guest I just had is a vegetarian...maybe she eats identically to your mom. How is that a real answer the question? A good portion of the Indian population is vegetarian as well, maybe they share her traits. I could choose to become vegetarian tomorrow...
In answering the question for myself: I'm very opinionated and outspoken, sometimes too much so...the only major difference is that I actually know (most of the time) when to hold my tongue. I'm a great cook. I am pretty adventurous, and well, we look related.
