This is yet another one of those shows that I could watch forever.

My favorite show was when Sig's men (I can't remember the name of the boat, NorthWestern maybe?) welded the Corniela Marie's pot together, and put underwear inside of it! That was funny!

The Pole and the Truck were not too bad either.

I know, big tough guys... totally okay with crying under that sort of pressure.

BUMP FOR TONIGHT'S SHOW
May 20, 9:00 pm
(60 minutes) Deadliest Catch
Seeking the Catch
TV-14 (L)
As the King Crab season ticks down, mass amounts of stinging jellyfish in unfilled pots add insult to injury. The Cornelia Marie faces losing their captain for good. Crew mistakes onboard Northwestern could be costly.

I can't believe this thread hasn't picked up since May. Surely I can't be the only one who still watches The Deadliest Catch?
I love seeing Phil interact with Josh and Jake. You can tell they're all hard asses who don't like to show emotion, but they all seem to manage to do so. It was hard seeing Phil in a hospital gown and not in his Captain's chair!
I can't wait to head off to the crab buffet again!

I am still watching! I had to TiVO it last night, so after I watch it I will be back!

Darn it! I missed it last night. I wanted to find out what happened to Phil. I was so worried about him. Did anyone watch "After the Catch?" I loved the Coast Guard pilot.
Anyone else crave crab legs after watching the show?

Oh, all the time. Luckily there's an all you can eat buffet 10 minutes away from my house that serves crab legs. When DolphinChicaDDD was here during Memorial Day weekend, it was only fitting that we went there because there was a DC marathon going on!
I too loved the Coast Guard pilot in After the Catch. She does not look like a CG pilot at all...but she sure knows how to keep her cool so she can save lives!
I was worried about Phil too. But don't worry, I won't go too much into it since some of you haven't seen it yet!
And yay for lots of fresh greenhorns!

I haven't watched "After the Catch" yet, but I did watch last night's DC episode. I think Phil is one very lucky man. Most people die from blood clots like that, but he lived after waiting so long to get medical care for it. Talk about an angel on his shoulders watching over him.
I am glad Moi is gone. But thought it was sad that while the captain was talking about firing him, he was saying how he wants to do better on the ship. At least Keith didn't drag it out.
Liking the new Greenhorn on the Cornelia Marie, but the other one on the North American (I think) needs to quit his bitching.

Like the CM greenhorn, the greenhorn on the Time Bandit looks promising as well. I'm curious to see how Keith's new guy on the wizard turns out. I LOL-ed when he was sifting through applications and resumes and one guy listed his PO as a reference!
Something tells me this isn't the last we see of Moi. And I agree with you about the North American's greenhorn. He seems so...tubby.

Aww. I got all sad about the guy who listed his PO as a reference. The guy's trying to turn his life around and get honest work. I'm such a mush it's pathetic. I've even felt sorry for a solitary cookie left in a cookie jar. You never know, it could get lonely.
I'm looking forward to seeing more of that greenhorn, Cooper. I liked his floppy hair.

You're totally right. I guess I just went along with Keith's reaction to the application. I know a thing or two about second chances, and I hope the guy was able to find work elsewhere. I had no idea that crab fishing was a job a lot of people line up for, judging from the stack of applications Keith had. I suppose with the show's popularity and how much money you can make, people are ready and willing to be on a crab boat, regardless of safety and risk.
I look at Matt (?) on the Northwestern and even though he comes off as an asshole sometimes, I can't help but feel sorry for him. I'm under the impression that he's in recovery for substance and/or alcohol abuse, and I can only imagine how hard it must be to be working and alone with your own thoughts all the time.

Did anyone catch the Season Finale last night?
It'd totally suck if Phil's (Cornelia Marie) done with fishing forever.

We missed it! My nephew came in and turned to cartoons and my mom let him.
My mother watches this show like no tomorrow. When I finally get hooked, I got punked by a 9yo. It really got me when the doctor told that guy "This [lung damage] didn't happen on the boat. This could be pneumonia or emphysema from smoking..." Talk about a wake up call.
