I had a problem where for three months I kept saying the phrase 'AH CRIECKY' from the Crockadile Hunter. My co-workers were about to shoot me if I didn't shut up. So, I suppose my quirk is overusing phrases.
I also have this problem with turning simple stories into 1 hour long sagas. LOL.
Oh well, I just like to tell all the details.

I used to say like, whatever, a lot and you know. A lot of my brothers have certin quirks in the things they say. Sometimes that went a long with their nicknames too LOL One of my brother used to say A LOT and it was something that we all kided him about. There are many times I was kided about certin beta stuff LOL. Well, one time I was in the back seat of one of my brothers cars at 2 am in the morning and I was starved after a night on the town. So I kept on saying the word burger. O well. Gotta love those college days. ha ha.

I have a tendency to talk back to the TV.. but not just your usual, bitching out characters or anything. For instance, there was a medicaid commercial on and the lady said something like "I"m marjorie Smith" and i said "Hi marjorie" or I'll make comments to what they say like "oh is that true??".. I thought I was alone until one day I was at my freind Alicia's house first semester of our senior year and we were watching TRL and LFO's "Summer girls" came on, and u know in the beginning he goes "do u remember"? Well this is what happened:
Rich (singing): "Do you remember?.."
Alicia: "umm, not really"
Rich: "Do u remember.. that time last summer"
Alicia "OH YEA!! now i do"
I was dying of laughter!! I was like "i thought I was the only one!" I guess it came from us both being only children and would talk to anyone (or anything hahahahaha)..and yes, y'all can say that i'm officially retarded lol

The trouble with trouble, is that it all starts out as fun.

As I entered the church, I opened the canister in one hand and dumped the dry ice in the holy water as I dipped my hand in it to do that cross thing you christians do. So by the time beth (who was right behind me) put her fingers inthe holy water, it was smoking and bubbeling. She freaked out and really thought it was something to do with her. I played it up for a bit and then let her off the hook. Everyone keeps telling me I am going to burn in hell for that stunt. I thought it was funny, and no one else really saw. There was only about 20 people at the service. Hahahahhhaha!
Wow Lifesaver, nothing brightens up one's day quite as well as making fun of the things other people hold sacred. Maybe next time you could invite an Orthodox Jew to dinner and sprinkle some bacon bits on his food when he's not looking

And no, I'm neither Catholic nor a tighta$$ in case anyone is wondering!

I have an annoying habit of taking sips with my pinky up...and everyone always makes fun of it.

I don't know why, but I also tend to chew the tip of the straw when drinking out of a fountain cup. If I don't chew it, I'll at least bite it so it gets flat.

I also have a habit of reciting movie lines and song verses and it'll happen out of the blue. It's usually stuff that I can't get out of my head. It annoys the heck out of my co-workers and friends because it gets stuck in their heads too. Like yesterday, I kept on reciting the "BRR..IT'S COLD UP HERE" cheer from Bring It On. It began to annoy even me for a while.

I say "That's beautiful" a lot. Mostly when I'm being sarcastic and something really sucks or is too funny for words.

Talking

Several months ago our chapter and a neighboring chapter did a trust walk in the middle of nowhere.
We were deep in the woods and it was very quiet and pitch black, then suddenly my cell phone rung!
I was like, "Hi mom, we are in the middle of a trust walk ritual. Can you call me back?"

My advisor and president has never let me live that down. They tell all of the new pledges and even sisters from different chapters that story.

I have to have something in my mouth. No, I'm not trying to be all weird, I am just always popping gum, or breath mints, or candy, or something. I'll chew on pencils, all sorts of things. Getting my tongue pierced helped some, but now that I quit smoking, I'm back to popping mints!

I eat very slowly when I’m at restaurants--an hour later I can easily still have food on the plate—and still eating! I eat normally home alone.

I also break out into spontaneous song. Although I try to control it, I can literally think of a song for almost every sentence uttered by someone I'm speaking with!

I'm also constantly tucking my hair behind my right ear...I especially do it if I'm nervous.

Finally, I can talk about one topic and be on two new ones within a 5minute span. I sometimes speak in complete nonsequitters!

Ok, I'm really odd. But I like it!

Out of all my friends I can say that I am the only one who watches Golden Girls, and anything on Disney. Usually they say "Karynn aren't you too old for that?" NEVER! I love it! =) They are always making jokes. "Oh don't listen to her, she doesn't know what she's talking about, she watches golden girls." lol hehe. Goodness! =)

Also, my friend Tiffany always complains about how slow I eat too! I have to agree with some other people. I don't know what it is, I just have to take my time...Actually now that I look at it, I'm usually the one talking during dinner, thats why it takes me so long to eat.
