Bushmill's 1608

To celebrate Bushmill's 400th anniversary, they released a limited-edition premier Irish whiskey. Now I love to sip Irish whiskey, but this 1608 is so smoooooooth.

Yep, they do indeed dye the river green. The city officials then call the Paseo del Rio the River Shannon for the weekend and they'll have the annual St. Patrick's day river parade on Sunday. We went on the pub crawl one year, but this year I think we're going to stick to playing at Hoolihans.

I've never had Strongbow before--would love to try it.

Don't know about San Antonio....

But they dye the Chicago River green every year ....going to watch was a family tradition for my dad's good old "Chicago Irish Catholic" family.

Raising a pint for the descendents of Chicago Furlongs and Callahans!

We spent last St. Patrick's Day in Savannah. It was a lot of fun, including lots of drinks!

One of my friends is a Sweet Potato Queen - she has shared some stories and pictures from the St. Paddy's Day Parade/Million Queen March festivities - it's something she looks forward to every year. I was hoping we could go together this year but she had to cancel...maybe next year!
