George Mason: 5% in Fraternities, 5% in sororities, 23% live on campus. Sounds about right...

I'd like to think I'm fairly knowledgeable about locations of colleges, but I HAVE NEVER even HEARD of those top 2 schools.

KSU stats are about right. They have 1% of women in sororities. There are probably 300ish women in all 6 NPC, the 3 NPHCs and 1 local combined. This is out of approx. 28,000.

I wouldn't trust the stats, since roughly 90% of all statistics are made up anyhow.

Just for the sake of more statistics, lets take the numbers from the largest school in the US...

At the start of Fall Quarter, 2007, Ohio State had 2133 members in the Greek System with 52,568 undergradute, grad and professional students on the Columbus campus. Undergraduate totals at Columbus are 39,209.

4% of the total student body and 5.4% of all undergraduates are Greek.

Pensacola Christian College is one of the most strict. No eye babies allowed!

Ditto for eye babies (never heard this before!) - the term is intriguing.

OK, that Pensacola Christian College is nuts. It's not a college - it's a prison. What the hell kind of education are the kids getting? It's not much of one.

ETA: OK, I just read the quote from the guy that's supposedly "pre-med." What is he thinking, going to an UN-accredited school for pre-med? I can't imagine any med school taking him, even if they wanted to.

To clarify, I never said ALL of them. Just the ones that are referenced in this thread.

Schools like that actually had recruiting "fairs" at my church youth group. Out of my entire group of like 20 girls, I think half of us decided to go somewhere else. The other half went to one of those small, religious schools. I was actually told by a few of them that I was "turning my back on God" (and I most certainly have not) for not choosing to go there, as if choosing to go to Malone or Circleville was a one-way ticket to heaven. Every single one of those girls ended up transfering after freshman year.
