Well hubby gets the bright idea a couple months back to get a new 24 footer -- very nice (even got a potty for me! ) but did we really need it...NO...and he is supposed to pick it up tomorrow -- so add the gas for that badboy along with my Tahoe and I could open my own charity!
I am in the South, and we are paying about $1.60 for regular. I got $1.52 the other day and was so excited!
I am feeling all you guys looking at $2+ - Lord please don't let it get that bad for me!

Where I live in Virginia, ten years ago it used to be around 95 cents for gas. At least around my house and now its around 1.55-1.57.

Here in Richmond, or back in Richmond, or whatever, its around 1.52. It was 99 cents two years ago. But guess what! In Turkey, its around $7.50, in Norway, around $11.00 and in parts of Germany, $15.00. These are rough because of currency exchange rates, and the metric system. But still, we are lucky. But I'm glad so many people are pissed off about it, because if America doesn't want electric cars (like the new Hondas and Toyotas) then no one will ever have them.

I live across the street from a gas station (I know, what a view!). I wacth the gas prices as a habit. Last week, it was $1.55, then $1.57 in two days. Tuesday, when I came home from work, it was $1.61. When I woke up to go to work 10 HOURS LATER, it was $1.69!!! RIP OFF ARTISTS!!! This is the price for REGULAR! I hate living in such an expensive area sometimes, although this may not have to do with it from the prices I see listed...But it's about $.20 less where my 'rents live!! WHY??

It's per litre, we don't use gallons in Canada. Everything is metric.

The cheap stuff at the gas station I go to is $1.70 right now, just a few weeks ago it was $1.30. Gas peaked around $2.05 last summer. And now we're supposed to get hit harder than any other part of the country again this summer.
Ahh, the joys of living in the midwest.

I'm bringing this topic back up one month later to see how much it's changed. It's gone up about 10 cents in two weeks down here.
I just paid $1.54 (regular unleaded) in Texas.

Price of gas in eastern ontario has dropped 3-4 cents a litre which isn't too bad, and maybe a sign of things to come. I was talking to some people from Montreal today who spent $86 Can. on a winnebago who were travelling to visit family in Fort Nelson British Columbia.
Well, at least they won't be paying 90 cents a litre (the price of gas in quebec).

Lucky you, in BC it has shot up to the low 80's and combine that with our nearly 2 month transit strike. Ahhhh.
