Oh yeah, it was a sad sight though yesterday. (EVEN as much as I HATE L.A.!) A Laker fan was knocked unconscious from behind and a Sixers fan jumped on his head.

Anyway, BEAT LA, BEAT LA!!!! I hate all LA teams (especially the Dodgers ) except for the college teams.

Hee hee....(singing) "Lakers are gonna wiiiinnn, Lakers are gonna wiiin!"

Woo hoo! My boys rule (and so what if they had a minor set back in Game 1? They did take it OT though....and hello! They were off for 10 days!)

They're gonna take it to the end....see ya later Sixers!

Oooh, and Carolyn.....don't get me started on Iverson.....I HATE that guy...he's all a one man show...and I'm sorry but one person does not win the game....the team does! That guy pisses me off to no extreme!!!! AAAAHHH!

Anyway....go Lakers!!!!

Vera, that's not fair!!! What about Shaq? Without Shaq, I don't think you guys could have won those 2 games. I'm not talking about the last few minutes where he was fouled out...but it's the same thing, ain't it? And without Kobe, you guys would be nowhere, JUST like Iverson is our man .

Iverson is the best there is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Did you see how those da*n Lakers (haha) double/triple-teamed him all the time, tried to mess him up, kept on fouling him but the refs didn't see, etc. etc.???? He has SO MCUH HEART!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is so THE MAN . He beat that annoying defense....had these AMAZING shots, wow... AND he is under 6 feet...little guy who has to go up against those big guys...

I WANT THE SIIIIXXXXXXERRRRRS to winnnnnnnn (please!)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY DESERVE IT! I'm so glad that Iverson has matured soo much . It's amazing to watch him change!

my ex-boyfriend told me this:
kobe was born in philly (a well-known fact).. and was actually named after a restaurant called "kobe's".... once the finals started, the restaurant changed it's name.. to "A.I" (Allen Iverson)...haha!
also... it is rumored kobe's highschool friends asked him for tickets to the finals, but he refused b/c they were SIXERS FANS!
what an ass!

all you said is true, AGDSexySmoker .

But, I don't think Kobe is an ass, I think he was just joking around, saying that they were Sixers fans (then again, maybe he was being mean? dunno for sure). Mabye his "friends" all of a sudden called him up from nowhere, after not talking for a long time?

But I think the part about the restaurant being changed to A.I. is pretty darn NEAT !!!!

Hee hee Carolyn!
It's gettin' ugly here! LOL! I mean that the Sixers....all the have is Iverson. The Lakers have both Kobe and Shaq....and yeah they probably woudn't be there without both of them on the team....but if even one was there I think they'd still be kickin' ass! So there's no comparison....no Iverson, no Sixers. If Shaq or Kobe wasn't there....I think the Lakers would still be tops!

Maybe we should leave it at that.....before we start kickin' each other's a**! LOL!

Love ya girly!

I love ya too, Vera!! LOL... but I think if the Lakers ddn't have ONE of them, especially Shaq, you guys wouldn't be in this position...and I'll leave it that, too .

Don't worry, friendly rivalry is fine!!! And just for the sake of today---GOOOOOOOO SIXXXXXXXXXEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRSSSSSS!!!

P.S. I WILL write back to you today, I promise!! (Sorry!! I'm so behind with my emails!!!!!)

Okay,

Prior to seeing tonight's game, I had read threads in the AKA and DST forums about Beyonce's (with special guest appearance by Destiny's Child) halftime show.

I was absolutely ECSTATIC to see and hear a crowd boo them off...on national TV!

If Mrs. Knowles was responsible for the girls' halftime attire (or lack thereof), then she needs to go back to fashion school.

I thought it was so classy how one DC backup dancer had the nerve to yell "WHATEVER!" to the crowd...

I swear...I don't know who the Philly crowd hated more--Shaq or Destiny's Child.

OOOH really??!!!!!!!!!!!! THat's wonderful news, OTW!!!!!!!!!

You see, I hate Destiny's Child so much (soooo sick of them...don't think they can really sing in fact (well, don't think BEYONCE can sing...you get my drift, right? ), AND I was so disgusted by the Sixers's performance, that I turned off the TV and decided to chat online with some of my GC buddies at halftime, lol.

AHh, too bad, I would have loved to see the Philly crowd (ya gotta love 'em!!) booing them off!!! What a sight!

And about the game...all I can say is that I'm glad that the Sixers didn't stop shooting till the end...never ever gave up...now THAT'S heart!!!! They just never die . And unfortunately Allen Iverson--my hero (NBA, at least )--didn't make the shots till later, when it didn't make that big of a difference.

Anyway, even though we sucked yesterday...at least I can say how proud I am of my team...I don't think that the lakers would have acted that way if they were down 20 points in the game!!

I believe that the backup dancer you're talking about is Beyonce's lil sis--Solange. That explains it.

Hey AGDSexySmoker--you will love this one, too .

I was talking to KSig RC from GC online and he said something about how Kobe was asked Q's by the press...the press asked him something like, "What can they [the defenders] do to stop you?" <--sorry that's not very exact...I can't remember what KSig RC said exactly. And Kobe answered, "There's no answer...like the Pythagoream Theorem."

What an a$$ of an answer...haha, I think it's funny that he said that the Pythagoream Theorem can't be solved, or something like that.
