Agree, and when the LX Z house was built, it was ADA compliant, but there is no way to get to the basement and the second floor with out putting an elevator in which would have been cost prohibitive. There is a room on the main floor that is accesable for some one with a handicapped ability.
But, from parking and getting into the house, it is available.
Retro fitting in some older houses could be very costly. But lets get back to the way and the Brother and how it was handled and what was done by this Brother and the Zeta.
