Well, what's the point in being magical if you don't have at least some hunches about what will turn out to be appropriate names for your kids.

Trivia point: JKR has said that she derived some of the "magical structure" of the books from alchemy (starting with the Philosopher's stone). In alchemy, there are three stages:
nigredo (blackening): individuation, purification, burnout of impureness;
albedo (whitening): spiritualization, enlightenment
rubedo (reddening): unification of man with God, unification of the limited with the unlimited.
Note that the three stages are reflected in the names of three major charecters --
nigredo (Sirius
Black),
albedo (
Albus Dumbledore), and
rubedo (
Rubeus Hagrid).
