South Park is the closest mall to me, only about 5 minutes away. That's definitely where I'll be headed.

Then I think you're pretty safe with anything dressy and appropriate for mid-October. And FWIW, I don't see any reason why red wouldn't be okay.

I wouldn't do the sundress. For one, it's the fall. Two, the after party is at night.

FWIW, I retracted my doubts about red when I realized that it wasn't for the wedding, but for the rehearsal dinner.

I think I'm going to go with the red dress. I'm glad I finally have a reason to wear it! And this way, I only need to go to South Park to buy shoes, so I won't do too much damage on my card.
