Did you notice the "$3.99 a Pounce" sign hanging from the table with the candy/crack? The models in the KKG apron picture look like those drug-addicted twins from the Dr. Phil house.

I don't get why you'd where those? And the wedding ones....WHY would you wear an apron to a wedding? I'm so perplexed!

Yeah, I thought I was going to actually find a link to getting something nice and cold I could grill with...
The thread should be labeled "$100 Apron-dress thingy with a big Christmas bow".

I'm so glad it's not just me - I have just been scratching my head trying to figure out 1.) why anyone would want one of these and 2.) why they would spend $100 for it.

Those models are terribly frightening! What's with the eye makeup on them?
We've been toying with Williams-Sonoma aprons with a slogan on them, and at $46/per, we had trouble justifying those. A hundred dollars an apron that doesn't even look as if it would stand up to an alumna's work during Recruitment is just outrageous!!

exactly! They're not functional, and to be honest, why would you wear an apron that wasn't funcational?
Maybe I just hate aprons, when I was about 10 my grandma made my mother and I matching aprons - they were actually nice, supposed to be used for holidays and what not while in the kitchen, but I always hated it.

As I was trying to find the wedding aprons, I saw the "high fashion" ones that cost $300 and are dry clean only. Even if you only wear these to look cute at a party, who would want to pay that much? And God forbid you spill anything on them while playing hostess!

my bigger question is why would you wear it to be cute at a party? They aren't cute

Some nationalities have a special dance that involves an apron. I couldn't tell you which or why, but I've seen photos of them.

So true! Many of them looked like reject 80s prom dresses, with the dropped waists, double ruffle, and shiny pastel satin.

They make me think of the Japanese Goth-lolita fad.
