I'm so jealous of all these houses!!!!!!!! I go to High Point University and the house that is shown is the one I live in now...it's actually a typical dorm-style residence hall and members from all sororities live there...there's 2 floors and 2 sororities to each hall, each one has their own "side" of the hall and also a lounge on the first floor, each room is a double and there are community bathrooms. It looks nice but the building reeeally needs to be rebuilt asap lol.

So technically Millis Hall is the "sorority dorm", but our sorority also has a house where four of the sisters live.

I was watching an HBO special (On Demand) on the Michigan and Ohio State Rivalry. Toward the end of the show, they show two pictures of the Alpha Lambda house. Ask how many times I replayed those 10 seconds?

Expect an update on the blog soon, ladies...I've been bored at work lately. I've even found USC, UCLA, and Berkeley

Greek Row at V Tech

Still looking for a picture of the Alpha Gam location

"The Oak Lane community comprises 18 buildings that house fraternities and sororities, as well as some non-affiliated groups of students. Each group leases its building from the university to use the space for living and programming initiatives. In addition, residents pay for their room and a dining plan. The community is located in the northwest sector of campus beyond the overflow parking as you turn off of Duckpond Drive:.

Here are current photos of 908 Curtis Ave., the house Epsilon Alpha built in 1964.
(EA: 64-76; rented by Pi Kappa Phi, 76-82; EA: 82-89??; sold to Sigma Kappa, and now it's Pi Kappa Phi again.)
http://www.mizzoupikapp.com/Pi_Kappa_Phi/Our_House.html

It was a deliberately 60's-modern house, in sharp contrast to the neo-Georgian/neo-Classical/Tudor styles of most of the other Greek houses at Mizzou. The formal & informal interior walls were peach brick and the upholstered furniture was purple and turquoise....a color scheme that has come back and gone again! The brick was painted when EA recolonized. Sigma Kappa remodeled and added columns.

I recently unearthed my scrapbooks from college and my consultant year. Sorry I didn't scan any of the pictures before I put them back into storage!

I'l add this info to the blog

Speaking of the blog, I am going to update it just not as soon as I had hoped. My computer self destructed last week and all of my research went with it. All of it. Lots of it. Gone.

Soooooooo...I'm buying a new computer this week and as soon as I get it going, I'll be updating the blog.

I also got a subscription to e-yearbook.com and it has been a HUGE help with finding housing information.

The Alpha Gam House will be the 1st house you see in the new Greek Village when they change the "front drive" from Maple Street to Lovvorn Road; the house is at the corner of University Drive and Lovvorn Road. It holds 20 members and is expected to be ready for move-in in August and recruitment Labor Day weekend. Chapters will have to revamp recruitment themes, etc., that we/they have done for years.

This is the company that recently did the historical renovations to Gamma Alpha (UGA)'s Chapter House.

The site has really nice before and after pictures. We're so proud
