Sara Paxton - She was in the last Haloweentown movie. Where she's brunette and goes to Witch U. She was the neighbor in Greetings from Tucson. She's Bill Paxton's niece. For more trivia I'd have to hit IMDB.
Ah Crap! She's going to star in The Party Never Stops: Diary of a Binge Drinker. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0843868/ I flipped through it at the store about a year ago. The writer has a whole chapter dedicated to her drunken sorority times.

She is also in "Darcy's Wild Life". You can see what productions she has appeared in by clicking this link here:

Thanks for the links. I didn't see any of those movies, but have seen her in "Sleepover."

True, but there wasn't really any other option for her, other than for her to try to join her Mom's sorority. However, it doesn't last for long (or there wouldn't be a movie!!)
The shirts make me think of KD, only because they're green (a KD colour) and also due to the "Kappa" in the name.

I saw that yesterday. I had to laugh because the Fraternity house has the letters EDF, but the girl, (who's supposed to be pledging "Delta Lambs" yet we never see her doing anything with them or wearing letters, etc) calls it the "Phi Sig House". The main character didn't end up pledging a sorority, so I guess they didn't stick much to the book?
The thing is, except for the time she drove into the fire hydrant, I don't really think HER drinking seemed THAT out of hand. Her friend's, obviously, but really, I don't think either one drank more often than the average college student.

??? Curious about this - the writer is a Matt Dorff (which does sound like an alias), and he's going to reminisce about his drunken sorority days?

Not HIS, but the the character that Sara Paxton plays. I saw the movie months ago when it came out and it was good. And she was an athlete in it, not a sorority girl.

aah matt long (the prince). went to college with him and he's from where i live now. he student directed a show i was in, and of course was in a bunch of shows while there. he's also an SAE.
can't say i'm a fan, really, but it's good for WKU to have something other than our great mascot to be "known" for. he was in jack and bobby, the movie with nic cage (can't remember the title....he played the younger version of n.c.), some lifetime movie, and now this.

I saw this movie today with the niece. It was cute (my niece loved it). I was kind of surprised how the names of the "made up for the movie" sororities were not that far off from the names of actual NPC groups.
There was the "Gamma Phis", who were Gamma Phi Alpha (NPC=Gamma Phi Beta).
There was also Pi Beta Omega (I think it was "Omega", but it was Pi Beta something for certain), which is not far off from the NPC sorority, Pi Beta Phi. I had to smile when Tyler Prince said that "Gamma Phis" were very perky, b/c the Gamma Phi's were a very upbeat chapter at my alma mater at the time.
They also showed a house that had Delta Delta Zeta on it (which is close to either Tri Delta or Delta Zeta...you can choose!!). And the Kappa Phi Nus (which Sydney joins) are referred to as the "Legally Blondes", b/c they're all blonde except for Sydney.
Kappa Phi Nu house looked similar to the sorority house that was in that bizarre "Pumpkin" movie that I saw a while back.
I thought the pledge pins with the ribbons were cute and a somewhat realistic touch to the movie.
eta: In the beginning of the movie, Sydney's Dad and workcrew give her a "You're going away to college!" farewell card and it's signed by all of them. However, I SWEAR to you that it said " Your going away to college!".
Oy...I guess the production crew didn't know how to spell.
