Unless they start popping up after recruitment is done with or close to being completed. I have no idea when they stereotypically start showing up in the recruitment story forum.

I know! I'd love to hear how it's going at Okla State.... but I guess no one on GC is going through recruitment there, or else they are far too busy to get on line. Oh well... we also serve who sit and wait.

University of Florida Recruitment starts Sunday, August 19. Panhellenic orientation August 18. 11 days to go!
University of North Florida recruitment starts Wednesday, August 31. They have a while....

Recruitment at Iowa State starts this Saturday, August 11!
This is the first year in quite a few years I'm not involved with recruitment at Iowa, and I don't even know when it starts. I'm guessing not until the 19th or so.

One of my co-workers daughter's is going through recruitment at OSU right now! There are quite a few Greek women in my office, so we're all living vicariously through her daughter! (We did this a few years ago when her other daughter went through at OU.) My coworker is on pins and needles waiting to hear from her daughter to see where she returned today, although we know that she'll most likely return to her 2 legacy chapters!

The Greek system at OSU is great, so she can't go wrong. Someone else on the board has a friend's daughter going through at OK ST. Hope we hear how it goes. Please update if it doesn't break any confidences.

Oklahoma State Update!
Weather - All I can tell you is it is HOT! We don't get to go outside until dinner time, but I know the poor PNM's are feeling the heat BAD.
Number of pnms - I believe the final number was 655... But I know a number of girls have already dropped.
Number of pnms vs. other years - I believe this year is actually smaller than the past... At least smaller than last year... I don't know too much for that though, seeing as this is my first year on this side of recruitment.
Bid Day date - Saturday, August 11. Girls receive their bids late morning/early afternoon and festivities take place at the houses that day until about 5:00.
Possible quota numbers - It is still early for this, but last year quota was 45 and we're expecting it to be around the same for this year too... Or possibly a few less.
Anyway, we've finished House Tour/Philanthropy day and tomorrow is Skit day! I know everyone at my house is excited, and I'm sure the other chapters and PNM's are as well because it's basically everyone's favorite day! Our chapter actually just finished setting up for the skit (a few of the girls) and I'm about to take a quick nap before parties start Thursday (today!) morning at 8! I'll update more when I am able, but these next couple of days will be hectic, so we'll see how it goes! Hope I'm keeping you all informed... if you have questions, feel free to ask!
