I finished it at 6am and really want to re-read it; unfortunately, my husband has it now and he can't read nearly as fast as I do!

I agree. I want to know too. Does Harry get married or does he die? I can't get into the series, but with all of the hype, you can't help it.

Amazing....truly amazing. I loved it. I read it in about 8 hours.

WARNING!!!! SPOILERS BELOW!!!!!!

I always KNEW Snape was a good guy. And it was so good of him to let Harry in his memories at the end.

I was a bit disappointed in book 7. It wasn't bad,I just found it a bit predictable. I wish she would have taken a few more risks with it, maybe thrown in a couple of real twists and turns.

It ends well. Many many questions are answered, allies declared, a few friends are lost along the way. I don't want to give too much away either. PM me if you REALLY want to know the ending.

Finally finished. It came via the post office which is BS because my shipping tracking said UPS. I got all upset when I saw the UPS truck go zooming by my house.
Amazon made great packaging for them though. And oh my god, I have to say the funniest part was Neville announcing that they were going to throw mandrakes at the deatheaters over the walls. And if you get mad at me for writing that, you shouldn't be reading this thread in the first place!

It was really great though, she did wrap things up nicely and it was great to see some theories that have been floating around finally come to fruition.

I <3 Neville in this book. The whole book was good, but Hogwarts on was excellent. Mrs. Weasley is clearly where Ginny gets her skills from.
Mine came via UPS -> USPS too.

Professor Longbottom was amazing! And I love how the Malfoys turn out at the end. Nothing like being the bigger man.

I just finished the book at 12:30...It arrived today (Saturday) at 2:00 pm via UPS and aside from a dinner break, a 1/2 hour trip to Publix and a few smoke/bathroom breaks, I've been reading the whole night.

I laughed, I cried, I cheered for Mrs. Weasley (if you've read it you know the part I mean) and I totally enjoyed it. I will miss the excitement of a new Harry book, but this will be a series I can enjoy with my children as they grow up...

Long Live Harry Potter!!!

ME TOO!!!! I finished it RIGHT before I had to go to work, and I was hysterical the whole way there and couldn't stop crying, i just kept thinking of the last sentence over and over... JK completely outdid herself. but with all that information about Snape, I mean, I think I knew deep down that it was the truth all along, but I just hated him so much, and Dumbledore trusted him so much, I just... didn't want to believe it. Was anyone else so frustrated throughout the book, during their quest? I suppose that is exactly what she wanted though, to really get the desperation, feel what they were feeling.

I get so into the books... I just got home from work and I'm going to re-read it.

Got the book today!

I have to re-read a few books to get back into the swing of things before I can allow myself to read the final one.

I peaked at my book though, looked at the artwork, read a few sentances etc.

And I'm obviously seeking out just a few spoilers to get a taste of what's to come!!!

I liked the book...

It was iffy in the middle part.....

The first 150 pages were a bit rough for me, personally.....I had to put the book down, it was just TMI for me....I did that throughout the day, put it down and pick it up....

Very intense....

There was only 1 part that I cried about.....1 part I openly gasped because it was a helluva surprise.....

But other than that, a good read....

I am still looking at my "SNAPE is a very bad man" sticker....I wonder what I should do with it.....he is still a very bad man.....but very Brave

You go, Molly Girl!

I LOVED IT!!!!

What a great book with a great ending. I just finished now, and i didn't want to come to this thread until I did.

I'm glad the spoilers I read were all fake!!! But this book had me in tears. I;m sad that the adventures are over, but it ended just the way I wanted it to.

I love Neville.

Hedwig!

I cried for poor Dobby like crazy. I didn't even care for his character but his death and consequent burial at Bill & Fleur's home just had be bawling. I actually had to leave the book and blow my nose, wash my face, and cry a bit more before I could pick it up again.

I had the same reaction when I read that Fred died. My heart broke for George and Molly.

I thought Snape had a lame death but his memories of him & Lily were so awesome. I loved them.
