My little Indiana State University made it past the first round but Gonzaga was too much and lost.

University of Connecticut men didn't make it at all but the UCONN women are doing awesome!


P.S.- I was rooting for Univ. of Illinois too- when did you go to school there? My best friend went in the late 80's and was a Delta Gamma.

Well despite a valiant effort by my SO Cal Trojans, Duke bested them in their bid for the final four... boo hoo!

BUt.. A HUGE CONGRATS TO ARIZONA! Now all my fervor will be thrown into rooting for my Pac-10 buddies! I hope the Wildcats win it all!!

My school (George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia) is having a great year. I cant recall what the stats were but I saw them on Saturday while all the games were about to go on.

They are leading 41-30, with 17:26 left in the SEcond half!!!

They are from te West Coast, and I have followed them ever since I was in 7th grade, in 1997!! LOL, I made a bet with my sister that Arizona would win over her fave team, Kentucky. I won!! Hopefully the Cats go all the way to win the whole thing!!

I cannot even begin to tell you all how happy I am about them going to the championship game. Every win is so emotional. We have had signs around Tucson and Minneanopolis that say FOUR BOBBI with a U of A "A" next to it. It's just so damn sad.

7TH GRADE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! O.K. I feel old!!! I was 20 when we won in 1997. That was my FIRST year here. So, it would be super cool if we won this year...for my LAST year here.

Do you remember how great that '97 Championship game was?? How the 'Cats went into Overtime, and how the team had Mike Bibby and Miles Simon then? BTW, do you know what happened to those two? I know Bibby is, I think, in the NBA with Vancouver. I don't know what happened to Miles though. It was soo cool when we won in '97!!! Hehe, I called my sister during overtime and I demanded her to pay me even more (I had only betted her 5 bucks). She was a UCLA Bruin then! Her fave team, of course, is UCLA, but her second fave team is Kentucky

I am so sad over Bobbi Olsen's passing-away. . I of course have never met Lute Olsen, but he seems like such a nice man, and definitely a great coach!!!! I was jumping up and down, up and down, when we got to the Final Four last week. And you can bet, that today after our win over Michigan State that I almost rocked the house with my screaming and jumping up and down!! My voice is actually still kinda hoarse . I just want Arizona to win it all for Lute Olsen, and his wife Bobbi. It would be so tremendous for his team to win it for the memory of his wife!! I heard that the team was very close with Bobbi, and I know that it hit them very hard this year, as it did w/all 'Zona fans! . I think I might get, um, emotional , if the 'Cats do win it all!!! Like possibly tears maybe?! I know that I will be so overjoyed, and that my parents will kill me, cuz I'll be jumping up and down and never stopping, LOL

Arghh, I kinda wanted our opponent to be Maryland, cuz I personally think it would be easier to beat Maryland. However, it's OK, Duke will be a good opponent, but we will beat them down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For Bobbi Olsen, and all 'Cats fans everywhere!! I"m sure that the city of Tuscon and the whole state of AZ is pumped right now!! Sorry so long, Shopgirl! OK, back to studying for my Math and Chem tests on Monday. Yuck!

Amy, I'm a loyal Pac-10 fan too! Last year, I also rooted for Stanford! I also like the UCLA Bruins since my sister is an Alumna! I'm sorry about your USC Trojans, but maybe next year!!!

However, our love wasn't enough tonight. The Wildcats lost to Duke 82-72.

But hey, what a great season it was. We came back after a shakey beginning. They really are a great team with a lot of heart.

Maybe next year, Arizona.
