i made my favorite set of letters. they are purple on a white background on a purple shirt (sorry tri-sig! i <3 purple!). The cool thing about them is that the fabric is called velboa. It's fuzzy - like a stuffed animal! I will try to post a picture of them.

i also made a set of letters - yellow roses on a green background on a black shirt. i love them!

I didn't know that VB made napkins?
That's a great idea -- and cheaper! ... I might have to steal your idea!

I really like that pattern too. My friend has the Little Betsey bag in that pattern and I adore it.

Girls at my alma mater have been making Vera letters for years with the napkins. They're very cute

hijack:

i had never heard of vera bradley until i started nosing around greekchat and saw the thread in chitchat about her stuff, thus prompting me to google it, and in the last three days of traveling, i've seen people with her bags everywhere and i can't help thinking to myself "that's a vera bradley!"

ah the things gc has taught me

/hijack

those shirts are cute, but really, i think making them yourself would be so much easier (and cheaper!)

Although I'm not really into incorporating non-greek related symbols in or on my letters, I did see a Nascar style crossing jacket. All the info was dispersed everywhere like sponsors. I'd still get one if I could find it.

I remember an AOII sweatshirt that was sold by the emporium (our online store) that I always wanted. It was navy blue with white block letters on a red background- but the "O" was a rose instead of the letter. so it was A-rose-II . However it was expensive (at least for me) so I never bought it and it was discontinued after I graduated and finally could afford to buy it. If they ever bring it back though- it's mine! (plus my mother-in-law has a machine that can embroider things, so I can have her add "Alumna" underneath).

You need to post that in the AOII forum! Someone, somewhere has one they can pass along to you. That sounds so pretty!
