Keenan Ivory Wayans has a better chance of winning.

I don't need the undergrad to win, I need his presence to make a statement to the "old guard."
Of the six original candidates, I feel that only Cecil and Skip were the real outsiders.
I love outsiders.

Exactly waht I'm saying. Everything is so....safe. I was inactive for 10 years (95-05) because I was disenchanted with the national org. I never "disavowed" ---worked waaay too hard for that---but Alpha definitely was not a priority for a good long while. Now, I'm trying to find a niche within probably the biggest chapter in the frat (as far as dues-paying members). But I'm looking for a GP who has a real handle on how to connect and excite the masses (is it too late to get Barack Obama as an Alphaman and have him run for GP instead of POTUS lol?)

Brothers,
It brings me great honor to annouce that Bro. Skip Mason is our 33rd General President Elect. The past 2 years has been a journey but with much support and for the many who "Believed in the 7!" this is definitely a great moment for Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. Get ready for Alpha to take her rightous place at the forefront of change especially with a Visionary leader such as our 33rd General President Skip Mason.
OVER THE NEXT FOUR YEARS.."BELIEVE IN THE 7!" and "Believe in Skip Mason"
Congratulations to my Alpha Father and Mentor Bro. Skip Mason!!!!!!
Bro. Travis Johnson

next level?
In response to the last post: this brings up a point for me, just for discussion: what do you all see as "the next level" for "our dear A-Phi-A." (?) Without getting too specific or "dirty-laundry-airing" (not that we have any, mind you ), what would you all like to see happen under the auspices and guidance of Bro. Mason that has not been happening but should be, or has been happening but shouldn't? (that last question probably is a little stickier).
