Clinton to Enter Presidential Race:

NEW YORK (Jan. 20) - Democratic Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton embarked on a widely anticipated campaign for the White House on Saturday, a former first lady intent on becoming the first female president. "I'm in and I'm in to win," she said on her Web site.

I'm in. And I'm in to win.
Today I am announcing that I will form an exploratory committee to run for president.
And I want you to join me not just for the campaign but for a conversation about the future of our country -- about the bold but practical changes we need to overcome six years of Bush administration failures.
I am going to take this conversation directly to the people of America, and I'm starting by inviting all of you to join me in a series of web chats over the next few days.
The stakes will be high when America chooses a new president in 2008.
As a senator, I will spend two years doing everything in my power to limit the damage George W. Bush can do. But only a new president will be able to undo Bush's mistakes and restore our hope and optimism.

I'm glad Hillary's running. She certainly is knowledgeable about what she would need to do. I would really like to see a woman in the Oval office in my lifetime, but I won't vote for her just because she's a woman. I'll decide that further down the line.

Hillary tends to bring out love-hate feelings from most people. With such polarized feelings from voters I wonder how she will do. Personally, I like her, and I hope she does well.

My, my, my Hillary the "hellraiser" in law school.....has developed such a clever name for her funding people....

"HILLRAISERS".....just a note of humor in the beginning of a very interesting political race...oh, and one that for the first time in 70 years in our country...is without either a presidential or vice presidential incumbent!!! "And they are off and running........."

Certainly makes things interesting!

Hill is super polarizing. Love or hate is exactly right. I personally think she is far to divisive to win in the general election. She's just so cold and calculating and people know it. Obama has a much better chance of winning red states...all Hill will do is pull the democratic primary to the left I think...

She is not on my priority list to vote for!

Hell, she moved to N Y as a reverse carpetbagger from Ak. and gets elected in N Y!

Amazing how soon people forget the law suits and investigations from Arkansas when Bill was Gov. Before and after.

Tom; one would have to wonder what would have happened to Bush if he had not taken over all three branches of government? Heck, right before the past election, operatives were telling the right wing to go out and vote if they did not wish the next two years to be spent on investigations and law suits.

Seems as if some people think what is good for the goose is not good for the gander

Just where is Mr. Star?

And now back the the thread.

Out of the 24 some odd people who are running, just who is on your list?
