2006 was a getting back on my feet year--new job, new home, new relationship. My goal for 2007 is to build upon my Blessings of 2006, and to continue to follow the path of Humanism--do good because it is the right thing to do and not because of a hopeful reward of Heaven, nor a threat of Hell.

And of course to continue to fulfill my lifetime commitment to my glorious sisterhood.

1. Take a Closer Walk with Him.
2. Learn to leave old hurts and worries in 2006. If you treated me bad then, you will not get another chance to do it again in '07.
3. Continute to be thankful for my family, my friends and my health.
4. Decorate our new house.
5. Stop worrying about the things I cannot change
6. Continue to be the wacky individual that I am

Okay, I am really feeling you on both of these posts. I had to tell my friend I would disown her if she sent me one more Jesus forward. Sorry...Keep It Moving.

This year I am excited to see my boys grow and learn new things. It seems like every month they are getting bigger and bigger and wiser and wiser.

I am also excited to start back working in May. I love being a stay at home but I am a mover and a shaker. I need to be out working and completing projects. I grow bored very easily.

I really don't have resolutions cause I never keep them. I want to lose some of this baby weight but I am sure I will after I start working. Other than that I am just learning to take each day at a time.

I love what Soror LadyGreek said about being nice to others not for an award or to escape a punishment but to do it because it is the right thing to do. Wise thinking Soror!!

2006 was stressful but during this time, I came to some realizations and learned some hard lessons. The year 2007 will be a time of change for me...heck, it has been already!
  • I will be starting grad school this spring.
  • I am looking for a new job. I was laid off but everything happens for a reason so I am looking at this as an opportunity to do what I really want to do with my career.
  • We will be occupying our newly built home soon.

In addtion to the changes already in progress, I will be striving to resolve some health and spiritual issues.

2006 was definitely a growth year for me and I don't know about you but I'm sick of the growing pains...
This year I plan to be intentional about my life. I will no longer let things happen to me and go with the flow. I will make a concious voluntary decision to act with not other motive in mind than to promote the higher good of all individuals (Love)
I plan to stop second guessing myself and trust that I am who God intended me to be.
I plan to have fun

Happy New Year everyone!

We'll talk at chapter meeting Friday!

This year, I plan on pursuing happyness in ever facet of my life. Which means that I will do the following

-Cultivate a rich relationship with Christ by 1)studying His Word and 2)praying consistently. I do the church, Bible Class, and Sunday School thing. I'm active, but sometimes I feel that that personal relationship lacks.

-Make Del a priority

-Continue to have a great relationship with family. I love my peeps. That's all that I have.

-Start graduate school. I'm scared but time is flying. I need to do this.

Let's make '07 right GC!

I hope no one sends me the T D Jakes "Let It Go" e-mail anymore ever again.

In 2007, my prayer is that my desires connect with God's plans for my life.

I want to be diligent to my gym membership.
What did I open my email to this morning - TWO copies of TD Jakes "rules for 2007 ". Geesh...

Happy New Year Everyone.

In a nutshell my resolution is to let go and let God. I have some personal goals I would like to meet but if HE has other plans I'm going to stop fighting and see where being obedient leads me.

I got it the other day and it was a slight remix to it as well.

I hope 2007 brings less suspect people to GC.

And I really wish people would stop misusing and abusing "..." Why use ... when . or , or ; will do.

My goals in 2007:

1) To pay down most if not all or my cc debt
2) Buy my first home (I'm tired of renting and paying my landlords mortgage)
3) Find a church home and start going faithfully
4) Be more positive
