I'm not saying he is. However, something just isn't right.

I agree. There is a strong possibility that she is referencing her relationship. Truth be told, there are several tracks on her cd (especially the one after Ring the Alarm) that make you say hmmmmmmm!
B was on GMA this morning & she said that there were several tracks that she - get this - secretly produced, and NOT even her own manager/father knew of... hummmm. I would like to check out that cleanse she did with molasses syrup which attributed to her 25lb weight loss.

At least she kept it real when she wrote, "She gon' be rockin' chinchilla coats
If I let you go... Get in the house off the coast...If I let you go...She gon' take everything I own If I let you go...I can't let you go, damn if I let you go

One of my girlfriends is doing the diet now with a recipie she found online. I don't trust it. We'll see how it works in 2 weeks tho.

A co-worker of mine did it too. It's incredibly unhealthy and very temporary. Its really a last resort type of thing.

About 4 years ago, a male friend of mine swore by this and actually did loose alot of weight. Its suppose to detox you or something, but, as with any other quick fix diet, the draw back is crazy if you dont do maintenence. I had the recipie pinned on my wall at work for years but I cant find it!!. Something with molasses & cayenne pepper. Let me know if you can get the link to it. Thanks.

If you mix anything with cayenne pepper will make your stomach fall out!! I believe in eating healthy (at times) and enjoying yourself. She out to know that southern gals are thick anyway. Our bodies are meant to have curves. If she looses too much, she'll start looking like a tootsie roll pop like Oprah did when she lost all that weight!

Beyonce's diet

To make the infamous lemonade drink, simply follow these instructions:

2 Tablespoons lemon juice or lime juice
2 Tablespoons real maple syrup
1/10 Teaspoon cayenne pepper
8 oz water

Combine the first three ingredients in a jar, add water and shake.

here is the link:

I hope this helps those who were seeking information.

Here is the article text on Black Voices:
By Christine Mangan, BlackDoctor.org

Known for her curvaceous figure, Beyonce has made recent headlines with her suddenly slimmed down look. She is nearly twenty pounds lighter after losing the weight for her role in the upcoming movie, ‘Dreamgirls,' a feat that only took her a matter of weeks to accomplish. It’s a piece of news that has left fans of the now svelte actress puzzling, ‘What’s the secret to Beyonce’s skinny success?’

With various reports claiming that she lost the weight by drinking water spiked with cayenne pepper, it looks as though Beyonce followed the Master Cleanse Diet to shed those extra pounds. Also known as the Lemonade Diet, this diet plan was created by Stanley Burroughs over 50 years ago. Designed to cleanse the body by ridding it of toxins, a happy side effect of this now popular diet includes losing weight, though this was not its original intention. And while some diets curb your sugar and fat intake, and others advise you to stay away from carbs, the Lemonade Diet requires abstaining from food altogether. That’s right. A complete fast is the key factor in this ten to forty day diet. In fact, the only thing followers are allowed to put in their bodies is water. And not just any old water. It has to be water mixed with lemon, maple syrup and cayenne pepper

Burroughs’ diet has picked up many devotees over the years, despite skepticism from the medical community. Instructed to drink six to twelve glasses of lemonade throughout the day, fans of the unique cleansing experience claim that it can also help to cure a number of ailments. This includes those classified as mucus diseases, such as allergies, asthma and the flu. Skin disorders and cholesterol are also wiped away by this not-so-typical fast. But it’s not as simple as it sounds. A whole host of problems can accompany this diet, including dizziness and, in severe cases, even vomiting. But the diet claims that this is not due to any lack of vitamins, as the lemonade provides everything that the body needs. It is simply a matter of all the poisons now circulating in the bloodstream. To counter feelings of sickness, the diet recommends drinking a laxative tea, which helps to stimulate bowel movements.

Once you’ve lost those pounds you’ve been longing to shed, don’t expect to go on a food binge the very next day. Easing back into whole food is a somewhat slow process. After the first and second day, dieters are restricted to several 8 oz glasses of orange juice. The third day includes more orange juice, as well as a bit of raw fruit for lunch and some raw fruit and vegetables for dinner. After the third day, you’re ready to eat normally again. Though, of course, the diet recommends continuing on with the lemonade drink for breakfast and limiting yourself to a fruit, vegetable, seed and berry diet in the future

Ok...please correct me if I'm wrong. For the diet, all you do is drink lemonade all day, no food. Then, you drink a laxative to help you "drop the kids off". This is just my personal opinion, but I think that sickness feeling comes from not eating all day for several days at a time. I mean, come on. Sometimes I go all day without eating due to being busy and I get light-headed just from that! This diet sounds like when I get sick and can't hold any food down, I can't eat for days and subsequently lose a lot of weight. This sounds the exact same. Stuff coming out but not going in Not healthy. I swear I hope I never have to diet b/c I just couldn't do it. I love stuffing my face with fatty foods. And I bet you my Potbelly's sandwich today tasted better than her lemonade

My husband did the Master Cleanse earlier this year. He doesn't weight himself so he doesn't know how he did. But I agree with an earlier post that with any diet maintenance is key.

Beyonce' mentioned that her cd was the result of stories from women around her.

It's surprising she and Jay lasted this long. If they do get married, I hope it lasts even longer. They both seem very happy: she has a man that adores her and he has a beautiful and business-minded woman who stands by his side.

Well, it took them long enough. I'm all for it and I hope they defy the statistics of the typical hollywood marriage.

If this is true, then maybe "Ring the Alarm" may have been about more than just Beyonce. It could've also been about Momma Knowles when Poppa Knowles was "doing him" whenever he felt like it. That's JMO.....

Congrats to Bey-Z. I've always sensed that Beyonce was a person who didn't share her private life too often. That leads to having too many cooks in the kitchen and too much interference from outside parties.

I dunno. I don't know why, but I've had this feeling that Jay-Z is on the other team.
I know his mother is rumored to be.
