Seems to me that the girls go back in the a.m. and are given their return invites. You'd think I could remember things that just happened two years ago, wouldn't you? I also remember them going to a computer on their own but don't remember if that was to see their invites or to do their own rankings.

mom, i would guess that the nervous, awkward rushers were first timers on the sorority side, but it could also be that they are girls who are just more shy. i am glad to hear that daughter is enjoying herself and that she is sharing her story with you. i hope that things go well for her!! best wishes!

Here's the latest...
NoleD a great day, a fun day, a very long day - no mention that it rained or was even hot, so I didn't mention it either! Obviously it was not an issue or she was so excited and interested that it didn't matter. She visited seven more houses today completing the 15 first round visits.
She did go to the computers tonight and designate the three she liked the least based on the first round of visits. It was not so hard for her to name those three but really liked so many of the others it would be hard to narrow it down beyond that - she's so glad she didn't have to do that yet. Now she will wait for the invite list tomorrow and can get invited back to a maximum of 12. She has the next two days to revisit that invite list.
She got some questions today that she wasn't sure she answered so well and that worried her some after having enjoyed conversations with others in those houses so much. I think maybe she was getting tired and not thinking so well on her feet. Usually she can answer a question well right away. On the other hand, she had some very fun and memorable conversations today that just "flowed" effortlessly. She felt very comfortable and enjoyed talking with those girls. Some meetings she felt as if conversations were somewhat forced, just not easy. Her RhoGam was very nice and helpful, the girls in her group all got along well and they are all trying to guess to which house the RhoGam belongs. Tomorrow each is on her own to visit the houses on her respective invite list.
She is hoping to have the chance to revisit as many as possible so she can meet more girls and learn more about each house she likes. She has a good attitude and I am proud of the way she is going through the process.
I sure hope it turns out well everybody - send your good vibes out for NoleDaughter as she (and I) wait to see what happens next!

Just got a call from NoleDaughter-she just had a few minutes walking between houses. I was in the dentist's chair and he was drilling when she called earlier - that about killed me!
She was thrilled! She was invited back to her top 12 and will call me later with details on the visits.
She got soaking wet but was totally fine about it. Nothing could ruin this day.
Whew - I'm so happy for her, no tears today! Got to go and call my dad with the update. Thanks for all the good vibes - it's working!

I'm glad to hear that she's having a great time, and I hope you didn't get a drill up your nose at the dentist's office! I hope she finds a good home after this week!

Nole Mom, here's to a happy outcome for your daughter, who sounds like she's up to the challenge of surviving FSU rush!
Best wishes and hopes that she's a happy girl when it's all over, and that her Mom is too!
